when did a dispatcher saying "we don't need you to do that" when Martin cut thru the backyards of townhouses, become "orders of authorities"? after the dispatcher said to keep him in sight, it sounds like a caution not to put himself in unnecessary risk.

It is the defenders of Trayvon Martin who are clearly lying. They ignore the eyewitness accounts of the actual incident and make up untrue "stories" of their own!

You of all people shoud first read your sources. Here is what your ABC News accout actually says of this incident.

"Police who investigated the shooting said they found no evidence to refute Zimmerman's claims that he shot Martin in self-defense."

Wow. I read the article and nowhere did it say the investigation was over and they had declared Zimmerman innocent.

So I guess the question should go back to you, do you like making things up? That seems to be exactly what you did. In fact you were so wrong, that the article you posted as your proof contradicts you.

So please, I would like the source that told you the investigation had been closed and the police had declared Zimmerman innocent.

 

I want to find out more about this situation before I cast a hard-line judgement one way or the other.

 

The police don't declare people innocent. There is either enough evidence for an arrest then the prosecutor files charges, or there is not enough evidence to file charges. Only juries, in some cases judges, and of course the maker figure out guilt and innocence.

 

Zimmerman IS innocent in the eyes of the law until he is determined to be guilty beyond a reasonable doubt by a jury of his peers.

If we continue to try and thwart this truly fine piece of legal standard so that our emotions can be assuaged then we might as well get out the black armbands and swastikas because next stop is a police state.

No one expects the Spanish Inquisition...? Well, no one expects their country to fall into the hands of totalitarian regimes...it just starts when you overlook the foundations of civil law for short term gain.

Note the statement of "re-enacting the crime THE FOLLOWING DAY", which was a month before the news broke.

The investigation went right from Sanford PD to the State Attorney. The investigation is still ongoing. Now, where did the Sanford PD declare Zimmerman "innocent" as you claimed?
