Concentrating on data generated by bogus tests seems most unscientific to me.....

one of the problems in the USA is Trump said 15 going on zero, when really the virus was already here late last year, that changes the models big time

but Trump did not want to know that he was wrong when he said only 15 cases, it's like his weather mishap, Trump can never admit he is wrong

unless the vaccine comes out soon, we could see many more die if people do not practice social distancing and wear masks

we still do not have the drug cocktail avail to the President available to all Americans

People will continue to die from all the same reasons they have died since the beginning of time, whether a vaccine is sold or not, and it is certain that a vaccine will be sold, just as they are selling and have been selling flu vaccines to the gullible for generations.

yep, but doesn't mean we do not try to prevent it where possible, tested vaccines work, and save lives - let's hope this vaccine is tested and not just pushed by the Trump admin to get it out there

The government is as effective at "slowing the spread of the disease" as it is at slowing the spread of cancer or slowing the use of illegal drugs or advancing the cause of democracy and justice.

Yes if no action was taken.....thankfully we have a President that acted, and acted quickly saving millions of lives.

We can compare that to Biden....who wouldn't of stopped travel to China, and when was in the last admin during the Swime Flu pandemic, ordered test to stop, and an estimated 60-90 million Americans were infected.

    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/fl...ng-complicating-bidens-attacks-on-white-house

"However, during the 2009 swine flu pandemic, the Obama administration suddenly told states to shut down their testing, without providing much in the way of explanation. And, Biden's top advisor at the time has acknowledged that the Obama administration didn't do "anything right" to combat that pandemic, before walking back those comments."

Yes he learned about it, and acted right away.

Well I wasn't changing the topic to Obama as much as comparing Biden (who's running for President and was VP in the last Admin) to this Admins actions.

Acted right away by allowing tens of thousands to enter the US from China from Feb onwards, telling everyone that the virus will magically vanish in the next few days, 15 total cases going on to zero in days, don't wear a mask, pretending he did not know of the seriousness of the virus for months, encouraging people to uprise against state lockdowns, promoting HCQ that he did not use when infected, saying the warnings about the virus was a hoax and the list goes on and on

What Biden did or did not say is irrelevant. Why do you think that Biden would have reacted any differently to what European countries did considering that he favours closer relationship with Europe who banned flights to & from China before the US did?

sure it’s relevant he is running for president and was when this happened.

Why? because he said trump was overrating.

He did not say that. Trump was the one who ignored all the science even though he was told how serious the virus is.

This is not true, and has been utterly debunked right, left and center - but I guessed you missed that.

Of all the people who died FROM Covid-19, 6% did not have any comorbidities.

The other 94% also died FROM Covid-19, and did have comorbidities.

    All 100% died FROM Covid-19.

yeah that’s why his wife and ex wife ar both immigrants

Biden is beholden to China, that’s why he opposed the ban and would have let millions of americans die

    Types
There are two primary types of xenophobia:

    • Cultural xenophobia: This type involves rejecting objects, traditions, or symbols that are associated with another group or nationality. This can include language, clothing, music, and other traditions associated with the culture.
    • Immigrant xenophobia: This type involves rejecting people who the xenophobic individual does not believe belongs in the ingroup society. This can involve rejecting people of different religions or nationalities and can lead to persecution, hostility, violence, and even genocide.

The desire to belong to a group is pervasive—and strong identification with a particular group can even be healthy.4 However, it may also lead to suspicion of those who are perceived to not belong.

true it’s not a good thing to be. It’s also not good for people to project on to others.

If Trump didn't realize how deadly this disease is he's abysmally stupid
If he did he's a lying POS
And as we all know he's really both
Anyone who's still voting for him has mental problems comparable to his and should consult a qualified psychiatrist, they are beyond moral or logical suasion.
