A COMPLETELY illogical and nonsensical observation. . . . And GOP members were the ONLY ones working to block the funding.

the banning of the so-called "pork barrel" from the bill making process has accompanied the current era of stagnant governance.
you can hyperventilate as much as you want, your moral outrage won't solve anything.

keeping around a terribly designed half-measure that eats money like a black hole is a horrible method of governance. It's Obama and his party's fault they settled for the shitty but politically expedient version of the ACA.

lmao anyone can recognize the scrambling they did to try and take back his statements for what it was.
of course they would try to say he didn't really mean it when Hillary was simultaneously promoting the ACA.

. . . . An irrelevant attempt to distract from the issue in focus.

There is documented evidence that the ACA has slowed the rate of acceleration of medical costs. Arbitrary medical price increases are a separate issue that needs to be addressed. It was by GOP design that premiums were increased when they blocked funding, discouraged state Medicaid expansion, and condemned the mandate, all
of which virtually sabotaged the ACA. . . . The AHCA would be a boon for the 1% and would erase Obama's legacy, but mainstream America will shoulder the burden.

Few people endorse the wisdom of ALL of Bill Clinton's choices.

this is directly related, it's just one more means that politicians pass legislation by handing out free **** to eachother.

lol then why aren't you posting it

the ACA had a ton of **** in it that involved delaying costs until after Obama's term was over.
Premiums going up because the GOP refused to pour public funding into it exactly proves the point that's been made about the expense of it.

"It is unclear at this time what role President Barack Obama’s health care law, the Affordable Care Act, played in the slowdown. Looking at various aspects of health spending will, however, help determine what factors can alleviate health care costs, which still grow at a faster rate than the rest of the economy and threaten the financial sustainability of government-sponsored health plans."

real solid stuff here buddy, very convincing

Cause and effect relationships are difficult, if not impossible, to prove in politics and economics.

Stubbornness is a virtue when defending the truth; otherwise an impediment to solutions. . . . They say that knowledge is power, but manipulation of the truth is a mesmerizing sirens' song to the gullible.

Anyway, I'll leave you to chase your windmills.
