Use your reason. Religion has no business in politics; just as politics has no business in religion.

I am pretty sure the response from every single woman would simply be.

Possible, I just think people make to big a deal about the small stuff. As a atheist I couldn't care less.

As an atheist, I’m appalled—-religion sticking its dirty nose where it doesn’t belong.

That's the usual reaction we A's have.
I just don't see the point. I have plenty of my own problems to think about.

I oppose any representation of religion and religious affiliations in Congress. I object to any wearing or display of a cross, a quote, a yarmulka, a turban, headscarf, etc. Such things only serve to draw attention to them, and that is inappropriate in Congress.

I could explain it, but like you, though in a different way, "I don't see the point".

Agreed, and the Bible they swear on—better they swear on the Bill of Rights, or the Constitution, or the Declaration of Independence.

She's free to wear it all the time except when she's executing her duties as a Congresswoman and getting paid to do so.

That would mean allowing public displays of religious symbols on public property, still want to change it?

There is no instance where women or anyone else is compelled to wear any Christian sign. Christian signs are not associated with the repression of women. There is no place people are attacked for not wearing a Christian sign. Christians do not regard women as being half as important as men. Women in western culture are not treated as subordinate to men.
All this is not to defend nor promote Christianity; it is to refute comparisons to the symbol this person wishes to exhibit in the halls of American legislature.

I'm pretty sure I understand where you're coming from and I understand the logic, it makes sense to me.

    No suggestion involved at all.
I am stating that direct, obvious, brain-washed oppression of women must be resisted until it is eliminated.
That's not feminism, not left, not right...there must be more that it is not.
It is vehement support of my sisters and the welfare of the female spirit.
