I don't see any trying to bridge the divide of police and the Black community, isn't that what the protests are over?

Strange it a private business matter that the president had taken sides on for some reason an protecting the ongoing legal murders of black men and even black children are every one concern and it surely the concern of black players who not only themselves are at risk in everyday life but their family members such as fathers, brothers, children and on and on are at risk.

I am of the opinion that the matter is serous enough to call for a strike.

Yes, strike. The Saints can win 12 games in a strike year with replacements. It definitely calls for a strike.

John Fourcade was a blast to watch.

Translation: You are correct, Max. I'm throwing the race card out on this because I have an agenda. If it had been white players protesting, I'd agree with you that there is no room for politics on a sports field unless it's LW race politics.

    Got it. Thanks.

Not only that but more white players will get to play to the delight of the Racists such as Trump.

Yes Trump will bring back the 1950s when white males was indeed on the top of the society an that even cover football.

A lot of people were hoping the strike would last a few years. Their teams were finally winning and it was really fun to watch. Guys came out of factories and law firms and just asked where do I sign?

A friend who was coaching at Mississippi College almost made the Saints as a punter.

Race Card --- a favorite play of Democrats with an agenda. If they don't like something, they just call it racist then whitewash a straw man.

It’s not limited to just one field. Kap alone put his money where his mouth is and provided support to at least 10 different organizations. I know the Ravens took kids out for Earth Day and built playgrounds for kids. The Redskins do the same.

Unfortunately for Orange Jesus, he doesn’t get to decide what is or isn’t patriotic. I don’t know if he knows this protesting is how this country was founded in the first place.

It wasn't his call. It was the NFL's call. Do you think it's appropriate to politicize sports? Would you be equally supportive if it was white players protesting a political cause on the field? Holding up signs saying "Go Trump!" or "Build the Wall!"?

No, but then protests are not meant for anyone’s comfort or to be appropriate, they’re meant to make you pay attention. And I was referring to how Trump said kneelers maybe shouldn’t be in the country.

**** Trump. This is about the NFL rule, not Trump. Do you agree that the NFL has the right to set the rules for employees?

No. I’m saying that if he thinks protesters here “don’t belong,” he should try to remember the same was said during the Revolution when this country was founded. He should also keep in mind that protesting is considered dissent and dissent is considered “the highest form of patriotism” to some.

Well then, 'some' would be wrong. There is always a faction that disagrees with the status quo and disagreeing in and of itself isn't noble or always right.

Agreed. Right or wrong, dissidents are useful for keeping the PTB on their toes.

Neither is being incredibly compliant. But yes, there’s never been a protest that didn’t involve some form of risk or backlash.
