New poll: 57% of Americans say Trump’s alleged crimes are ‘serious’

I guess America is starting to take notice. Maybe Nikki Haley was right when she said that Trump is not a good candidate for the Republican Party because he will be spending so much time on his legal problems.

Yahoo News/YouGov poll: 57% of Americans — a new high — say Trump’s alleged crimes are ‘serious’

The survey of 1,746 U.S. adults, which was conducted from April 11 to 15, found similar increases in the perceived seriousness of Trump’s other alleged felonies as well:

• Nearly three-quarters of Americans (73%, a new high) now say that “conspiring to overturn the results of a presidential election” is a serious crime, up from 66% in December.
• A full 69% (another new high) now say “taking highly classified documents from the White House and obstructing efforts to retrieve them” is a serious crime, up from 63% in December.
• And the same share (69%) now say that “attempting to obstruct the certification of a presidential election” is a serious crime, up from 64% in December.

 

The fact that he wasn't trying to do any of that seems to have escaped a lot of people.

 

He wasn't trying to put up slates of false electors? This is well established by Republican witnesses around the country. All Republican witnesses!

 

I heard someone yell "Kill the Umpire!" at a ball game once. No umpire ever died and no one but folks with mental "issues" cared.

And Biden could have stopped 10 million illegals just by letting Trump's Exec Orders stand. He could have also kept billions of dollars of US military equipment out of the hands of the Taliban terrorists. He could also have saved 100,000 American lives by stopping the fentanyl with a secure border. Biden could have also prevented the hunger and suffering caused by skyrocketing inflation by leaving oil prices alone.

 

Biden was willing to sign the Bipartisan Senate Immigration bill that was spearheaded by Sen. James Lankford (R, OK). Lankford called it "the most comprehensive immigration bill in the history of the United States". Trump killed it. Trump is responsible for all illegal immigrants and fentanyl that crosses the border in 2024.

 

Of course they are serious, and yet 43% condone them, and the condone the lying, profanity, anger, bearing false witness, fraud, sexual immorality, adultery, stirring up dissent etc. Its weird that even evangelicals would condone it given what Bible says about it: "Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them."

 

That bill allows 5,000 illegals a day to enter the US. It's a joke that solves NOTHING. It's just a ploy by the left to continue Ukraine funding by linking the border with Ukraine and Taiwan... apples, oranges and space shuttles.

I read bills and decide for myself. I don't have politicos tell me what I should think and do.
