Newark, N.J., Mayor Cory Booker (D) has criticized President Barack Obama's re-election campaign for its attacks on Bain Capital, the private equity firm once run by Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Barack Obama cannot run on his four years of failed attempts at our economic recovery. Consequently, he is attacking Mitt Romney's business record. Other prominent Democrats have stated Obama is wrong and that Bain Capital has created thousands of more jobs than it lost when the Chinese dumped its steel products on the US economy and caused many US steel companies to close their doors and close. During an appearance on NBC's "Meet the Press," Cory Booker (D) said he found such attack ads "nauseating" and called them a "distraction from the real issues." Later Sunday, however, due to intense pressure from Barack Obama's campaign operatives, Booker released a YouTube video in which he said it is "reasonable" for the Obama campaign to examine Romney's business record since Romney himself has made it "a centerpiece of his campaign." Booker says his earlier remarks were intended to express his "profound frustration" with negative campaigning. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/04/21/u...n-faces-dropoff-in-big-donations.html?_r=3&hp
This was a big story on TV yesterday. When Booker was waterboarded in the White House and forced to retract his comments even the flaming libs at Politico called it the Booker hostage video.
its the only part of Romneys past that he wants to admit to...while still keeping it shrouded in secrecy. cant talk about his time as a liberal governor, or teaching the French about his cult....i guess he just wants us to talk about his hair?
I think it is in poor judgement to go after Romney's Religion because Obama has his own problems there , I am amazed how the left is so disrespectful of another mans faith , I figured that the left would love a liberal president??
The Democratic Party will smash Booker down and make him repeat after them.... don't expect him to stand by his words... which were right by the way. He will change his tune... it's the Democrat way.
Romneys the ideal republican candidate for liberals....not as ideal as a democrat, but a mile ahead of if they actually ran a conservative.
This may surprise you, but I prefer Mitt Romney to a more conservative candidate. I also support a woman’s right to choose and I have no problem with gay marriage.
The Democratic Party will beat people into submission until they endorse every aspect of their socialist platform.
