    I'd suggest the partisan politics flies in both directions but regardless of why it happened, the point remains that it is the only thing his comment about the drug achieved. If the pointless partisan argument hadn't happened for whatever reason, the comment would have achieved literally nothing. There was absolutely no point in him making it.

    No doctors or scientists who needed to know the details learned anything they shouldn't have already known (and nothing close to everything they would need to know and all layman members of the public got was some confusing partial information about some great drug they'd never heard of before.

    I heard of zinc being added to the other two for beneficial effect. I’m fine with that. At least it’s an over the counter mineral readily available at any drug or grocery store.

    Why? To keep the economy down until the election. That’s why the states that Trump won the big upsets in in 2016 , Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin with New Democrat Governor’s from 2018 are having the most draconian shutdowns. Fortunately the Wisconsin Supreme Court stopped it there saying the legislature and governor had to jointly do a lockdown law.

    It led to hatred and partisan BS because Leftists and the MSM are deranged and will oppose anything Trump does. ALL Trump did was mention it as promising. He NEVER said it was the cure or any other definitive, like the MSM LIED about. Same way he never told people to drink bleach. He asked a question to doctors about a method to cleanse the inside of the body. A silly hypothetical and loosely based on something he heard.
