Chancellor Merkel visited russian president Putin today and Merkel assured that construction of the Nordstream 2 pipeöine continues and is an important project for Germany.

Russian president Putin agrees and says Nordstream 2 doesnt make the Ukraine pipeline obsolete. Russia will also deliver through Ukraine as long it is profitable.

Trump wanted the Nordstream 2 pipeline to be stopped and demanded that Germany buy american fracking gas, which is 30% more expensive than the russian gas.

Analysts also say that the tendency of the americans under Trump to break contracts, make Russia the more trustworthy partner for Germany.

Do what ever you guys want as long as it lessons the chance were we have to defend you guys from the Russians. If we are lucky we can get out of Germany one of these days and then the Russians will be Germany's problem alone.

We deal with Russia since 1900 years. My school building alone is older than your country. So with all due respect...****.

Russias economy is a dwarf against Germany, which is an economic giant. We currently spend 1.3% of our gdp on defense. When we raise our budget to 2% our army would be almost double that of Russia.

Also why do you threaten constantly to "get out of Germany"?

Thats exactly what the german people demand "Ami go home" is a slogan here. Do you believe you are welcome? In my state Thüringen is not a single american installation and when your army planned to build a military hospital here, our minister president said she would rather open a pig farm there.

Germany is a G7 nation. We arent scared of Russia.

Beside that, Russia tends to hold their word and treaties. Never did Russia not deliver gas. While Trump is highly untrustworthy. Who tells us he doesnt take us hostage if we buy american gas and he wants something else from us? Who promises us teh americans will deliver then?

Hey man we would love to get out of your country. As long as you guys promise not to try and conquer Europe again we should be good. Three strikes and your out. Next time we will divide you guys up between your neighbors and be done with it.

We already own Europe. You came to accept that.

That said, whats your problem exactly?

    Russian gas is 30% cheaper.

Russia is more trustworthy and doesnt break contracts.

Transporting gas through pipelines is cheaper and more functional than shipping gas over the atlantic ocean.

So why should we buy american gas? Whats the pro on this?

Damn you commies make me sick. Make a basic lesson in capitalism for **** sake.

No please buy ALL you stuff from Russia. We dont mind, your business is a very small part of our trade. In fact DONT buy from us so that we can divest ourselves of any dealings with Germany. Believe me America will not notice. Of course Germany will but that is of course your business being the kings of Europe and all.

24 million americans are emplyed by german corporations.

Oh and you can also say your space program good bye. Only Germany builds the turbopumps used in your rocket engines.

So you say me you wont notice 24.000.000 unemployed?

    cool story bro.

And all that, because you are a commie and dont know how capitalism works.

There is nothing in Germany that we cannot make if we want to, We CHOOSE not to because of price, but that can always be changed. If Germany wishes to position itself as our opponent we can adapt. That is the strength of the United States. We have all the options because of our wealth, natural resources, and military strength. We are not dependent on any one country for our survival or our sustenance. So play the nationalistic game all you want. We dont mind if the kids play as long as they dont break the windows.

wrong. Germany is a high price nation. Our products are more expensive than yours.

You cant even copy the poison we make. Whenw e stopped delivery you had to hald your executions and look for other ways.

And no, you cant copy our turbopumps. You dont know how the material is produced.

You should invest your "wealth" in your infrastructure. Your country is rotten down to the core. Come back when you have a functional railway system and LTG5 internet evrywhere.

Sigh, it is ok you guys are a BIG UGE wonderful country. Sure we cant make turbo pumps or high speed rail or what ever because only the German's can figure it out. As for your poison we are well aware of your countries expertise in that area. High Prices of course are the hallmark of a great economy as well.

So like I said feel free to trade with who you want and hopefully we can get out of your country. Just play nice with your neighbors.

With our land area and population density, rail and internet are a very different kind of challenge here than in Europe. There is no comparison.

So you say Trump could not break the gas deal if he wants something from us?

Take the turbopumps for example. The material can only be made here. We have the patent.
We also make your tank cannons for the same reason. Because we have the highest quality.

Lets say Trump wants that we give it for free and waits till winter, blocks the contracts and doesnt deliver gas until we give up and deliver for free?

Thats exactly what analysts say here. That if we make that deal with USA, that we dont deal with a trustworthy partner but with one who breaks contracts.

Your numbers are not supported by facts.
"Among foreign enterprises, British-owned companies employed the highest number of U.S. workers in 2015 (around 1.1 million), followed by companies with majority ownership in Japan (around 856,000) and France, Germany and Canada (each over 600,000). These five countries alone accounted for a majority (58%) of U.S. employment by foreign-owned enterprises in 2015 and have made up the top five since at least 2007, the earliest year for which comparable data are available."

There are six private companies in the US making rocket engines. We don't need your product.

The Russians aren't any problem. You forget that the Germans attacked Russia, it was not the other way around. Actually in most of history, the Russians and P-russians were always close. They had to be, it would have been suicidal for them not to be - as we saw in WWII.

rocket engiens are not fuel pumps. The fuel pump is not even part of the rocket engine. MTU has the global monopoly.

The fuel pump is the part with has to withstand the most extreme powers.

If you dont need our product why do you use it? Even the Spae Shuttle fuel pumps got checked here in Arnstadt, because it was a german product and the contract did not allow the americans to work on it.

We also build the fuel pumps for Space X and United Launch group.

Only the Cygnus spacecraft doesnt use a german fuel pump and switched to russian. Their rockets tend to explode quite often.

Europe plunged into energy crisis as Russia cuts off gas supply via Ukraine
    By Robert Lea

    Updated: 01:57 EDT, 7 January 2009

Russia cut gas exports to Europe by 60 per cent today, plunging the continent into an energy crisis 'within hours' as a dispute with Ukraine escalated.

This morning, gas companies in Ukraine said that Russia had completely cut off their supply.

Six countries reported a complete shut-off of Russian gas shipped via Ukraine today, in a sharp escalation of a struggle over energy that threatens Europe as winter sets in.

Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, Romania, Croatia and Turkey all reported a halt in gas shipments from Russia through Ukraine.

Croatia said it was temporarily reducing supplies to industrial customers while Bulgaria said it had enough gas for only 'for a few days' and was in a 'crisis situation'.

The European Union in Brussels called the sudden cut-off to some of its member countries 'completely unacceptable'.

Ukraine cut the pipeline to force its will on Russia. This incident was exactly the reason why Nordstream 1 was build. To make a direct pipeline between Germany and Russia without interference of shitholes like Ukraine.

Die Russen und die Preußen, Руси и Пруссаки. Not so similar when you look at their languages. The Prussian people were never particularly close to the Russians. They are Baltic by heritage. Here, read some real history: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Prussians

George Freedman founder of Stratfor Global Intelligence said a few years back, that Washington always did what it could to keep Germany and Russia apart, since Germany's industrial capacity together with Russia's raw material would make them unbeatable.

Putin originally wanted to create some sort of trade agreement with the EU, but that was before the coup in Kiev. Afterwards, Merkel made the mistake of siding with Washington and sanctioning Russia. She overestimated Russia's European aspirations, and when the Russians realized that Germany was willing to hurt itself to please Washington, they became disgusted, so they turned towards China.

The languages are not close. Also the Prussians are Lutheran and the Russians Orthodox, but from what I gather, Prussia was the breeding ground for the Tsars families. As an example, it was the Prussian emperor who chose Catherine the Great for the Tsarvich's bride, and it was the Tsarvich's admiration for everything Prussian that turned his guards against him and led to his downfall.
