I just remembered something.....occasionally I watch Dr. Phil and about a yr ago saw this grown man, who put on his big boy pants during the day and went to work - did all the adult things. When he got home, he changed into a 'baby'.... put on his baby jammies, climbed into his adult-sized crib w/bottle and all and babbled like a baby.

As if this wasn't bad enuf, he had a finance' who'd tended to his 'baby' needs, which included changing his diapers, which he literally filled....

The woman was just as unbalanced and crazy as he was. Wonder if therapy did them any good......probably not if you're that far gone.

 

Why is it adults sexualize kids in an argument not related to sex?

It is beyond creepy the right wing fascination with teen and preteen girls undressing.

define disturbance..... If a boy saying he is a girl goes into a girl's lockerroom.... and the girls protest, the girls are labeled bigots for daring to not want to change out in front of a boy.

There are schools in Conn that won't allow schools to tell the parents of a trans child, that their child feels like the opposite gender and gets special accommodations like bathrooms because they feel that would open the child up to bullying from the parents.

So, worst case scenario, what happens if a 7th grader goes in to a girls lockerroom because he's saying he feels like a girl and starts taking phone pictures of the girls.

he can't get in trouble, because by suspending him, you would have to tell the parents why he's suspended. "he was in the girl's lockerroom taking pics of Thinks' daughter in her panties"

that leads to "why was he in there in the first place"


"we can't tell you" isn't an option.


You are going about this issue like "we'll cross that bridge when we get there because I don't think it will happen" RWers are saying, "it's going to happen, don't be naive"

I'd rather proactively keep boys out of girl lockerrooms than to reactively have to deal with the consequences of a boy whose balls just dropped, making girls that notoriously have body issues being oggled at by a kid you refuse to admit, has a problem

 

Because sexual assaults are real and you are giving those with mental issues (and who are more prone to commit these transgressions) a free hall pass into places like this. I notice you avoid the issue by trying to marganalize a very real possibility.

Could just be a thug 16 yo kid.... who's still in 8th grade, horny as hell, doesn't give a crap about anything because he's only in school because the state will revoke his Driver's license if he drops out now.... see's Think's 13 yo daughter, who just started turning into a woman..... He realizes "man, all I have to do is say I'm a girl and the tecahers can't prevent me from going into the girl's locker room while Think's daughter is changing out. I'll see if I can't sneak me a quick picture of her in her panties that I can't show my friends and spank off to whenever I want.


You have given this boy all the protections he needs in order to do this.

School is powerless to stop
you label the girls in this situation, bigots, if they object to having a 16 yo in there with them.
the school can't tell the parents the boy is claiming to be a girl so they can get him the help he needs


and your (hypothetical in your case, but someone else's real) daughter is the victim, and LW'ers have, worried about protecting the wrong person in the event.

I have also thought about that, if time and space are not set in stone, then one could be reborn in the past, future or present, which means many of the people you meet, could really be.... you.... weird to think about

now, there are also gonna be those whose parents taught them to hate transgenders and gays

I doubt most girls would want a transgender girl that looked like a boy in their locker room either.... so what to do?

it's only when they know for sure that it doesn't cause problems

which is why I support separate bathroom and shower stalls, no more naked group showers among people of the same gender

me personally, I never liked getting naked and having group showers with my own gender anyways.... but we were forced to comply back then too

Perhaps keep these students at home until they are mentally sound and comfortable with what they really are? The majority of students dont need to be uncomfortable to accomodate a mental delusion in a super small minority.

 

so if a female looks like a male or a male looks like a female they should not be allowed to go to school
