I'm not exactly new here anymore, but I didn't actually make one of these before, but technically, this is for introductions, and not necessarily new members. I figured it was worth making one. I like to read and learn. I will read or learn almost anything. It's all knowledge. It's all valuable. The main reason that I'm on here, is to get new things to look up, and new things to learn. My opinions are all based on the information at hand. That means that I'm one of those weird people that discusses politics, who can have their opinion changed. However, since in politics everybody uses argument from the consequent, I will not be posting my opinions. My main focus is on information and rationality. I find them both important, and even annoyed my roommate by citing every logical fallacy he used, for a month (he stopped talking to me much, after 2 weeks). However, my focus on here is going to be on introducing information. I will find any information for people, upon request. I am also hoping that people will use me to factcheck posts for them. The request for those has slowed in the past couple of months, but ideally it will pick back up. In addition, I started the Society for the Proliferation of Information, with the goal of making information easily accessible. Ideally, people will use the Society for putting together information, collaborating, and identifying threads that are in need of information, since nobody can be everywhere at once. That's the basic introduction to who I am on the forum. As one final thing, if I am incorrect on something, please let me know either by posting, or PMing me. I will either correct you or correct myself. I have had occassion to correct myself twice so far on the forum. The same point goes for making an unsourced claim. Tell me what you would like a source for, and I will provide one every time, or concede it as being incorrect.
