    Republicans believe in those things, with limits.

    For example ... we want the border sealed to illegal immigration, but we want our legal immigration numbers to be increased greatly. We need a strong wall with a very large gate.

    No you don't.
    You want to keep America white, and immigrants are changing that, whether they are legal or illegal.
    The current hysteria about immigration, made worse by trump's idiot demagoguery, is just the latest spasm of bigoted, frightened xenophobia that grips weak-minded people periodically.
    If you want to get tough on illegal immigration, get tough on the people who hire them to work in their homes and businesses.
    Personally, I welcome immigrants who aren't criminals, which means almost all of them.
    I think that people who have the courage and determination to suffer through being refugees to make a better life for themselves and their families are the exact sort of people that made America great.
    If trump wants to live up to his motto, he should welcome all peaceful immigrants to our country.
    I bet you he'd go for it if they offered to replace the Statue of Liberty with a big gold-plated statue of your Great Orange Hope.

    Given the current crop of Democratic candidates I'm not sure most of them could find Israel on a map or for that matter the Middle East without google.

    What happens when you lose wars? Palestine went to war with Israel and got the hell beat out of it.

    These Palestinians are in the same class of human as were the Baath party in Iraq. They did most of the killing.
