Note to Trump: The Mueller Probe Costs Roughly $0.00 – Not $40 Million

Great return on investment, and clearly not "13 angry Democrats" hard at work here. I think that was terrifically reaffirmed last night.

 

If there's any possibility (and there's plenty of circumstantial evidence) that the moron infesting the White House is a Russian agent, there is no amount of money that American taxpayers shouldn't pay to figure that out.

Already the investigation has found multiple criminals in or associated with the trump administration that committed multiple crimes..including dealings with Russia and election hacking/fraud.

I wouldn't care how much this costs...but that Mueller is seizing assets covering his costs is just icing on the cake.

Congress is going to be spending a lot more money having open public investigations soon...after what the right wing nutbag Congress wasted on bengazi and email crap, it will be a much better investment.

This is one of those very silly attacks the Russians have been trying to use in their efforts to destroy our faith in our government. Their social media efforts focused in part on dividing the Democratic Party along the Bernie Sanders fault line, just as they hammer at the real news media.

Nothing happened within the DNC that was contrary to our form of government, nothing in violation of the Constitution or any other laws, which don't really concern themselves with how political parties organize themselves internally. The DNC and GOP both enjoy a lot of legal freedom and autonomy in that respect.

Why did you even try to throw "MSM collusion" in there? What did the media report about it that you find objectionable? I can only guess you don't like that they don't share your fantasies of DNC corruption and made-up crimes.

 

Trump spends a whopping 360 million dollars to fly to Mara Largo every weekend, and he is worried about a paltry 40 million dollars?

I'll do it once more, for the drill. The Deputy AG cannot appoint a Special Counsel except for specific matters that the AG has recused himself from. The Deputy AG cannot assign a Special Counsel to investigate any matters beyond the specific scope of the original investigation.. Nothing in Mueller's appointment letter says otherwise. As an aside, Rosenstein's letter is legally faulty from the start as it does not specify a crime to be investigated as required by law. "(i) any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump;" does not specify any crime. However it does limit the scope of the investigation.

I am not panicky over this in the least. I just calls 'em as I reads 'em. You are free to read the law any way that suits your fancy -- rightly, wrongly, or indifferently. I have done all I can do.

I am heavily concerned, but not yet panicky, over the large picture of the attempted overthrow of a duly elected president and the consequential trashing of the republic's Constitution.

Overthrowing a duly elected president can occur when he/she does something dirty, illegal, and unconstitutional when he/she has sworn to uphold the constitution and the law. I am also concerned that this 'duly elected president' may have done something outside the law and something that is unconstitutional that justifies his dismissal. Don't know for certain, but I want the investigative process to continue to its conclusion.

 

Nixon was taken down by his own lies and illegal acts. The FBI had nothing to do with his dismissal.
