    Caterpillar should have stayed away from legacy costs in the first place. That would have been really wise management. But some manager with a -12c probably figured those costs were the cheapest way to go AT THE TIME.

    Perhaps killing a few consumers is good for their bottom line. Less people to pay back on the debt that they still owe.

    I'll buy that you have a Mercedes and a BMW, but do you have a source for the static electricity safety issue?

    The gas cap is on the opposite side from the tailpipe in 99% of single tail pipe cars, you are a 1%er....
