    As expected. Usual diatribe. "It's all a plot to take your guns away." Quite boring, actually, since it's nothing more than a diversionary tactic and never touches on preventing the tens of thousands of death we have every year from gunfire.

    I'm not asking you to explain why you need fifteen assault rifles equipped with suppressors and fitted with bayonets; nor a few barely legal length shotguns that holds a dozen or so rounds; nor semi-auto pistols that are little more than mini assault weapons. Nope, that's up to you. Spend your money; take them to bed with you for all I care and fondle them till your little heart sings a happy song. All I am suggesting is that when you go to stock up on the ammo for them that you be a reasonably sane person (at least prior to your recent obsession with guns); not a criminal, nor having a restraining order served upon you in the last five years. Now, what's your problem with that?

    I don't see the problem. If people had concealed carry weapons in that church, there is a good chance that someone could have taken out the shooter before he killed so many, seeing as how he had to stop and reload multiple times. Is it insensitive? maybe. but that doesn't make it not true.

    It doesn't matter what you choose to use your handgun for. Some people just buy them to look at them. That is not the point. The point is that almost all handguns, with the exception of specialty target guns, are specifically DESIGNED to injure, maim or kill.

    That is a ridiculous comparison. There is no "design" for sex. Sexual urges are separate from urges to procreate. The two are only tangentially related. Your comparison is ignorant.

    could be for competition shooting. It's a pretty huge sport in case you havnt noticed. Pistols are also great for pest control. And some hunters do use them for hunting.

    I just enjoy going to the range and shooting. It's fun to me. I've never killed animal in my life and I've most certainly never shot a human. I have 6 guns. They are for shooting at the range and defending my home. That's it. I also don't find common sense gun control to be an attack on my rights either.

    I've a hunch that the poster wouldn't own three handguns if he or she thought they wouldn't kill people. I certainly wouldn't own mine for home invasion protection if i thought it wouldn't.
