I'm sure that Fancy Pants LaP is thrilled that his scare tactics are funding his lavish lifestyle.

Not all NRA members who have ben fleeced are loathed to admit it.

Services are best performed when their rewards come in consequence of them being performed and are in proportion to the diligence employed in performing them.

The top brass at the NRA, by the above standard, should be some of the highest paid executives in the US today. They get more bang for my buck than any other monies I spend on protecting what I have.

It is the lobby for the munitions industry. And it gets you to pay the bills for them!

So, graft, blatant corruption and Russian money laundering are all OK with you as long as you can cling to your guns and cower in the NRA prompted fear that someone is going to come and take them away.

Such irrational fear. And such enthusiasm for lining the grifter’s pocket.

Interesting. I’d like to discuss this further but first I’d like some more clarification.

Would you define “weapons of war” for me?

Also, what specifically makes it easy for criminals and mentally ill to obtain weapons?

Firearms presently for sale on the private market are not weapons of war, and no claim to the contrary on the part of yourself will ever change such. They are not designed to be used by any military around the world, and they are not standard issue for any military in the world. Cite evidence to the contrary or drop the claim.

As to the second point. who exactly are these individuals who "should not be allowed to own a weapon at all" that are being referred to by yourself? Explain such.

Which means what, exactly? Is it actually going to be argued on the part of yourself, that the criminals are foreign nations are more inclined to not be criminals, when compared to those of the united states?

Prove the claim. Prove where firearms manufacturers and their lobbyist representatives have done anything to argue for making it easier for prohibited individuals to legally acquire firearms.

As opposed to which organization, exactly? Cite an organization that is devoid of moral corruption.

Cite the evidence of the claim.

Again, as opposed to which organization, exactly?

Except for the fact that such did not actually happen as is being claimed. And no evidence to the contrary can be cited on the part of yourself.

Unfortunately, "OK with [me]" is not one of the options currently available to me. I must choose between tolerating their imperfections and having your perfections imposed upon me by force of law. I choose them.

Many within the NRA are not happy upon finding out that they have been fleeced, now that so much of what the NRA had concealed from its members is being exposed.
The lavish personal spending and other aspects of the mismanagement of funds has brought the political lobbying outfit to near bankruptcy, and that has implications beyond its own purported mission. Its hyper-partisan political agenda is seriously impaired.

If you need to believe that the NRA is thriving, and that despite the documents prepared by its external auditors showing that its spending increased faster than its revenues rose, that it has run a deficit for the past three years — including a $10.8 million shortfall in 2018, and that, even as its solvency is threatened, it has allocated more money to travel and entertainment and less to gun training, your denial of the empirical data must be very pleasing to Fancy Pants LaP.

There is nothing wrong with Squinty fleecing members so that he can sport his resplendent adornments purchased at his high-end Beverly Hills fashion boutique at chichi resorts in the Bahamas and elsewhere if that is the informed intent of those members.

And now, they are being informed.

I'm sure now that Trump is POTUS and the 2A is safe less people are joining the NRA. Just wait til the next Obama is in office, he was the best gun salesman/NRA booster since Bill Clinton.

    "Oh, yeah!
    Well, what about ...?"
Meanwhile, returning to relevancy, with the scam by "Fancy Pants" LaP and his cronies revealed, members fleeced to finance the opulent lifestyles of the rich and duplicitous, the bottom feeders are confronting the bottom line.

I'm hoping to win a new Kalashnikov with my donation, but I don't have a problem with Russians! I particularly like the way you can beat another man to death and sometimes never being asked why and at most a slap on the wrist, just as long as it done with your fist :)

I don't want the NRA to 'rest in peace'. I want it burning in the fires of lobbyist hell for eternity.

The scam has become a virtual shooting gallery as these frauds take pot shots at one another with nary a scary "liberal!" in their sights.

No, it's called democracy. The gun industry gives relatively little to the NRA. Planned Parenthood gives 10 times to politicians what the NRA does.

For an organization that is really going kaput, see CNN.

    Egregiously WRONG!

According to you PP gives more than half a BILLION dollars in election contributions? :roflol:

    Here are the FACTS!

    https://www.opensecrets.org/pacs/pacgot.php?cmte=C00314617

    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news...cus-shifts-to-nra-gun-lobby-cash-to-lawmakers

You could not have been more wrong if you TRIED!

PP only gave 1.27% of the amount that the NRA did.

The citation on the part of yourself admits to the figures being an estimate, meaning it is at best nothing more than a guess. And guesses are not facts or evidence.

The only facts of this particular matter, is the source cited on the part of yourself admits that it is guessing about the levels of donation, and has no evidence to actually back it up. The only facts is the source of yourself is engaged in hypotheticals and blind guesswork. That it ultimately what the word "estimated" translates to.
