Dems remind me off some cult whose leader predicts the end of the world and then end up looking blankly at one another when it doesn't happen.

Maybe. Do/did they have a reputation, to begin with? There doesn't seem to be any damage done. Heck, in the face of having been exposed as frauds, they are still running with it.

It seems very much like that. They predicted the Trumpian Apocalypse when the Muller Report was released, then it was released and said the opposite (no collusion). Instead of realizing the cult was wrong, they double downed on it insisting that Barr was hiding the truth. So they got a new date for the end of the Trumpian world (the redacted report) and that still didn't have the truth, so the date of the Trumpian end times was reset until they get the unredacted report.

In the meantime, they are heading full steam into impeachment, just as if the Muller Report had said collusion.

It's crazy, and so are they.

Well it's still working. They feel they control the horizontal and the vertical, and can tell us whatever. I was watching MSNBC Friday afternoon and they double downed on the Charlottesville "fine people" nonsense, as if I didn't know they were lying. It was really incredible. I knew they were lying, they knew they were lying, and they were sure they would get away with it.

Seems to me television is becoming more like the internet, anyone can broadcast whatever they want, veracity is irrelevant.

I've read each and every one of the GRU named in Mueller's indictments appeared 2 years earlier in some online account describing the work of the "Internet Research Agency".
