What armed insurrections? - - - Updated - - - Most Oath Keepers' lives don't revolve around guns n' ammo either. Mine certainly does not. Why are you trying to misrepresent us?
What is an AR "build technique"? There is no "technique". There's an assembly sequence for the lower and upper that must be followed the same for every rifle/carbine, or it won't work. There are torque values for the gas key and barrel nut. There are preferences for hand guards, lights, sights and so forth, and all of that gets a fair amount of discussion. Maybe that's what you mean. The places online where you find that discussion do not represent themselves as OK, although the majority of those forum members are sympathizers. OK doesn't represent itself as arfcom, or "that other AR site". They're not just about "the gun culture" at all. If you read the blog archive that I originally linked to, back in the first post of this thread, you see that they are concerned with the whole array of specialties that go into the preservation of civilization in the event of a disaster of any kind. They are not interested in bringing any disaster to bear. With the capacity and potential for enlightened discussion that we have on this board, it's amusing to me that so many here prefer to remain "low informed", yet want us all to know their opinion. Here's another link, with much easier reading than the last one I offered. Let's see what "Police Magazine" has to say about OK: http://www.policemag.com/channel/patrol/articles/2013/04/who-are-the-oath-keepers.aspx
LMAO! Yeah, I'm sure it is only a matter of days...Thank goodness we have well-balanced, sane individuals such as yourself to sound the warning and protect us all.
That's ludicrous. There is no right wing terrorism. It doesn't exist. It's just a figment of the paranoid leftie imagination. The "vast right-wing conspiracy", right? ROFLMFAO!!! - - - Updated - - - Yeah really? Would you mind pointing me to the section of the US Code where that's elaborated please?
The Constitution devides responsibility for training, equipping and disciplining the militia between congress and the states. No privately-mustered militias are authorized. The laws against them are usually statue codes. For example, in the state of Washington, we have RCW 38.40.120.
Based on what? Following Oaths that you swear when joining the military??? - - - Updated - - - Its called deflection. They seem to be giving up on the race card on this one now its try to link them to other people or groups with no basis for it.
What enemy are they adhering to, or giving aid and comfort? - - - Updated - - - What Waco conspiracy?
Isn't it creepy how liberals want us to have empathy and understanding for muslim terrorists, but they want us to have bullets and bombs for redneck white folks?
The Constitution doesn't authorize book clubs or jelly-of-the-month clubs either...what's your point? That's not what the Constitution is for.
The right wing noise machine may think you are stupid, but please don't think I am: From the the link: This one is my favorite... whoops looks like conspiracy nonsense to me......... but I am sure you have proof....like truthers do. - - - Updated - - - No an am questioning the integrity of a poster, who posts his signature, when he believes anti=government conspiracies in a thread about a group who are talking about anti-government conspiracies. (Note: Oath Keepers have one of there pledges that they won't put people in concentration camps_)
LMAO! You think that the fact that the state has a monopoly on violence is a conspiracy theory? I guess Obama is just a tin-foil hatter, then... Uh, oh! I guess you're going to have to rethink that one.
