The fact of the matter is there were Americans in that lab up until July of last year, until Trump's funding cuts and trade war with China caused them to be pulled out. You could just as if not more easily say there's blood Trump's hands for that as blaming Obama for it. Both sound like nonsense to me. The Chinese are ultimately responsible for it.

Trump's slow response to it's spread inside the U.S. and visibly caring more about his own ego and reelection chances are another matter entirely.

I would ask if you have any way to substantiate that there were Americans in the lab. Not that I think it really matters if there were, or were not, but the assertion underpins your other assertion about responsibility. If the Chinese knew, for example, that they weren't able to continue to operate at a safe level, then why did they continue to allow the lab to operate? If you're looking for culpability here, it doesn't seem that suspending an Obama era intellectual property theft ring to continue operating seems both appropriate and forward thinking of mr Trump. Why do you suppose that the NIH was so invested in that lab in the first place?

 

Do you think people who hide hurricane relief from hurricane victims to hurt trump would start a pandemic to hurt trump?

 

If we are to "follow the science" here, it seems that we should all get outside and enjoy the sun and fresh air. Study and study are showing that this is the best course of action now...
