Looks like, Israel has two US presidential candidates willing to stand with them against the hostile Muslim forces. Obama has seen the result of Hamas terrorism with his own two eyes. I give him credit for going there and seeing what Hamas is capable of.

"Near their children's bedrooms"? Perhaps he would do better visiting the graves of the 352 children slain by the IDF during Cast Lead, before wringing his hands in sympathy with this pariah state!

He knows that their blood is on the hands of Hamas which started firing thousands of rockets at the bedrooms of Israeli children (see the OP) the moment Israel withdrew from Gaza and did not stop firing until Israel's patience ran out. After which they used their children as human shields, storing weapons in kindregartens and firing rockets from school yards.

PS lest we forget that the majority of these "children" are 16,17,18 year olds who died with weapons in their hands.

That's total unsubstantiated nonsense, and you know it! Show us the evidence that the majority of the dead children were armed.
According to several disinterested sources 15% were under 5 years of age, 25% were aged between 5 and 10 with the remainder aged 11 to 17. I'll be happy to provide details on request. Just as you should be.

He's the face of the American Left. He's a progressive, drone-slinging Israel lover. What's not to like?

There is never an excuse to kill children in any war.
And my heart goes out to the parents of the Israeli children killed by Hamas.

But my heart ALSO goes out to the parents of the Palestinians children killed by Israeli. . .and there are MANY MORE!

    Here are some statistics:

And, if the numbers are not enough to give you the real picture, here is a graph:

Of course there is not. But when children get killed the blame goes to those who started the war. Israel completely withdrew from Gaza in 2005, the blame goes to Hamas who kept firing rockets (10,000 rockets) at Israel for several years until Israel could take it no more. And of course you are right, the Palestinian children suffer disproportionately. Take a close look at my avatar and you will hopefully understand why. Israel builds bombshelters in school yards, Hamas builds rocket launchers there.

So, you're saying that the Palestinians are responsible for their own death because they revolt against Israel taking over more and more of their land? And you are saying that Palestinians are responsible for the death of their own children because they are unable to gather enough equipment to build bunkers and bomb shelters in their school yards. . .while Israel keeps such a tight embargo on ALL building products and even food and medicine that the international community feels it is their duty to send ships with supplies over. . .and those ships get attacked by Israel?

Wow! You obviously are demonstrating that you are a fair minded person! I wonder if you also think that it is the fault of the women who are being abused by their husbands, or raped. And, as long as we're at it, it probably was the fault of the Black slaves if their owner had to beat them to a pulp and sell their children to the highest bidder, right?

After all, all those women and slaves had to do was to accept the abuse of their "owner and master" with a smile on their face. . .right?

How exactly does the complete Israeli withdrawal from Gaza turn into Israeli land grab in your mind? And yeah, whatever their reasons are, they fire thousands of rockets at the bedrooms of Israeli children, they murder civilians in malls and restaurants, they start wars - they are fully responsible for the consequences and for the deaths on both sides. If they want their own country alongside Israel they should negotiate, not murder civilians indiscriminately. Too bad they never learn.

They seem to have more than enough resorces for thousands of rockets, mortars, guns, terror camps, terror training... They should perhaps get their priorities straight, the moment they use their resources to build bombshelters instead of rocket launchers their need to ever use these bombshelters will disappear overnight.

And, of course, no blame for anything can ever be attached to Israel. Am I correct Borat? What about the 'settlers' grabbing Palestinian land and homes and throwing the occupants into the street? Conveniently forgot to mention that, didn't you?

I absolutely do not understand people who support either Israel or the Palestinians. Clearly there have been grave human rights abuses on both sides.

Yes there have been. However one is the occupier of someone else's land, and the other is defending itself against having all its land stolen. Can you guess which is which?

You and your ilk of all people should talk about 'one-sided' views. You come here every day to bash, demonize, deligitimize the only true democracy in the middle-east, a tiny state occupying 0.2% of the reginal land, outnumbered 70 to 1 (against arabs only, excluding Iran) and surrounded by dozens of enemy states not recognizing its right to exist. You defend, justify, excuse and deflect every despicable act of Islamic terror, intransigence, expansionism. And you have the gall to accuse others of supporting Israel?

And yes, Israel makes mistakes, Israel is not perfect. No state is. Israel is nevertheless better than 90% of the countries on the planet, it's infinitely better than any medieval theocratic, third world sh*thole surrounding it and it's very likely better than any other state would have been in Israel's situation. If your own country were under the threat of annihilation for almost a century, it would have long wiped out the entire arab population and moved on, just as you did in the past. Israel is bending over backward to make and keep peace instead.

You're wasted on here. You could earn a fortune writing fiction. Tell me the last time Israel unilaterally voiced a peace initiative. Actually I'll save you the trouble; Israel has never initiated peace talks. Never, not once. Instead it has relied on foreign intermediaries to do the work for them. Fact.
