Is there no end to this man slamming Americans everytime he speaks before a group of foreigners? To the Asian delegates in Hawaii, he called American businesses 'lazy' -- now to a group of Australian high school students, he accuses America's school kids of being stupid.

He acts more like a school kid than the POTUS... always trying to make himself look better by putting others down. Don't know about you, but I'm SICK OF IT.

President Obama, if you can't say something GOOD about our country, then keep your big mouth shut. You're an embarrassment to this great country and I can't wait until Nov 2012 when we kick you to the curb.

    Quote of the Day

“Yes, I said it, Americans are lazy. Now watch this drive.”
    - Barack Obama

A note from our attorneys: This is not a real quote

Seems to be a number of other countries this man would rather be a citizen of...I say don't let the door hit you in the ass, Barack.

Do you have any idea how ridiculous this comment is..

He is talking about American business having been lazy in developing international commercial investors in US jobs..

He's talking about trade relations, economic recovery because he was speaking at the Asia-Pacific Trade Summit.

He wasn't talking about American kids!

    LOLOLOL

The arrogant fool is correct. However.........this is something that stays at home for domestic consumption.

I notice the incompetent fool isn't bragging about his own educational shortcomings???? Such as his mind boggling shortcomings in basic economics?

I don't hear him bragging about the $4,406,730,207,007 he has squandered in a short 2.8 years. Nor the new record of $15 Trillion in debt he just set.

No, the man doesn't need to be spreading our dirty laundry around the globe.

Compared to every other country in the world...American workers are lazy.

Compared to students from most other countries that have schools...American students are stupid.

Why hide it?......everybody knows it's true. The test scores prove that for the students, and the fact that investment in companies that utilize American labor is down proves the other point

More phoney outrage over a truth Obama spoke....why must righties always be so PC?......always trying to tell people what opinions they can talk about, or not...tsk tsk tsk

So, it doesn't bother you that the so-called leader of this country casts our kids in a negative light in other countries? Amazing the lack of support for our own country receives from, not only the President, but some of its citizens.

American workers are lazy? As compared to the workers in say France, that put in a cool 25 hours a week and get 2 months vacation a year? Now, if you would have said American Liberals are lazy, then that's something everyone could get on board with.

Yeah........ I wasn't buying that old liberal canard myself.

It was a popular talking point in the immigration debate but a simple glance at Europe belies the rhetoric.

Great OP and you definitely make some valid points.

However, I do have to ask something. Since when is the truth a bad thing? If we can not even bear to speak of a problem, how can we ever expect to fix it?

Our collective education has taken a nose dive. We put men on the moon using slide rules. Nowadays it seems that education comes second to making people feel good about themselves, as your OP proves.

Great issue to bring to light though. Well done.

LOL...nice try at twisting. I'd rather the President actually stand up for this country for ONCE. He's done nothing but whine, bash Americans, place blame, and on and on. He has zero pride in this country and if you think other countries don't grab ahold of that, there's the delusion.

    No kidding.
Garbage, fluff curriculums loaded up with sex ed classes, and ethnic and diversity study spit out kids who are behind on real education.

it's not the kids who are stupid, it's those in charge of, and those who back this garbage curriculum today who are failing our children.

Math, Science, Language and some History...leave everything else to the higher levels of education as electives.

Obama is an ass of the first order.
The Fed has screwed up education and now Obama wants the Fed to fix it?

And yea, slamming our kids, instead of the Fed for screwing up the educational system - AAHL (arrogant (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) liberals) like Obama think they have a solution for every ill, confiscate money the competent to give to the incompetent and make things worse for everyone.

This guy does not need to be voted out, he needs to go to jail.
Him and that (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) with him in the White House.

Great point, and I do think you raise a very valid issue.

I would humbly like to reply with a James Baldwin quote.

I love America more than any other country in this world, and, exactly for this reason, I insist on the right to criticize her perpetually.

His comments should be for THIS country. What possible purpose does it serve to make negative comments about our kids to Australian kids?

Great quote. It's true we have that freedom here, so far. It should also be kept at home where it belongs. Trashing America in other countries does nothing to help.....nothing.

Great point, but I am not sure I understand your reasoning here. What was the context of the speech he was giving?

So the President should just not talk about how bad our education system is? He should ignore the problem?

Because telling the truth in this case requires hard truths. Do you believe that America is so weak that it can't face a hard truth?

Golly, no. But what's this sudden urge to tell the truch. Are we going to find out now that he did hear Rev. Wright say, "God (*)(*)(*)(*) America" and cheered him on? Are we finally going to hear that he and William Ayers talked about bringing th socialist, or communist, revolution to America while Bernadette baked cookies? Will we finally hear about the plan to force everyone into unions whether they work or not?

I never realized, Questerr, that you had this thirst for honesty from a liar.

My only problem with the OP is President Obama didn't say American kids were stupid. He said they were falling behind. And, they are, thanks to the Obama-supported criminal teachers' unions.

Good point about the president's location, but what does it matter if he is being truthful and accurate?

Of course you understand. The context isn't the issue. It's the audience. But, thanks for letting me clear that up for you.
