You are very mistaken James. Bush II wins that by a long shot.

Was Bush the most polarizing ever? DOES IT MATTER NOW?

obama has made it worse, not better. THAT is what is NOW important.

Blame Bush is now the world's stupidest position to desperately hold onto.

The person in a position to change things, the person that promised change, is not changing anything for the better.

That is current events, not recent history.

Bush was bad, obama is a total failure.

Ridiculous nonsense, as always. But it did go downhill rapidly after 01/03/2007 when the Democrats took control of both houses of Congress. Hopefully it will bottom out soon, but could go on for 10 or 20 years like the Japanese liberals have caused.

Obama is fine, one of the most bipartisan presidents in history.

The Obama haters, however, are the most polarizing people to ever exist in American history. Just look at the ones on this thread. Case closed.

If the Obama-haters have to destroy America to destroy Obama, then they will, with a smile on their seditious faces. One of the defining characteristics of the Obama-hater is the way he always puts party in front of country, exactly like the old Soviet communists who they resemble so closely.

    You are mistaken, mamooth.

No one I know hates Obama. They just know his socialist policies are wrong for America!

    You are very mistaken James.

The hate that many have for Obama is clearly evident in their posts.

    Bordering on obsession.

Read the article. It clearly shows there was more polarization under Bush. I'm not making it up.

Obama: The most polarizing president. Ever.

Posted by Chris Cillizza and Aaron Blake at 06:30 AM ET, 01/30/2012

"President Obama ran — and won — in 2008 on the idea of uniting the country. But each of his first three years in office has marked historic highs in political polarization, with Democrats largely approving of him and Republicans deeply disapproving..."
