That is something that all of the dems are not relizeing is that in 2 years there is a mid-term election. If Obama or the Dems in the Senate dont do anything, the people will remember that.

Romney's concession speech and Obama's victory speech were both very good. Obama made an interesting statement about the voting process. As I've said before I expect the feds to pass a uniform national law regarding federal elections. Expect that to be an agenda item in the next Congress.

I don't know. Obama has come through one of the most difficult periods in your history. If people re-elected him even after that, and if you now prove to actually be through the worst of the economic mess he inherited, then theoretically the next 4 years could be much, much better and will make him look much better. Why would people elect the Republicans after that...? Just cheering the Righties up...you know.
It is just the way it works. Politics is cyclical. The next president will be a republican no matter how good or bad things go. The whining, crying, and perpetual victimhood by the right should be pretty entertaining for the next four years though. The poor babies. Republican ideology was soundly rejected because they decided to appeal to the fringe nut bags of the party and that was never going to be a winning strategy and if they continue to pander to the fringe they will continue to be rejected.
