I guess I am more or less right wing and I liked the video. My exact thoughts were "nice arse" as someone else posted having the same reaction. What we see demonstrated with the dancing story is how easily people feed off of the fake news with no attempt whatsoever to apply critical thinking. These people see a fake claim, e.g., collective right wing outrage about a video and regurgitate it. I was taught the 5 Ws in 8th grade, but who knows what they teach in school today -- so I am going to help out liberals and enable them to detect some fake news by providing the following (quoted from Wikipedia). So the next time a left wing claim is made such as collective outrage the who, what, where, when, why must be answered. According to the principle of the Five Ws, a report can only be considered complete if it answers these questions starting with an interrogative word:[1] Who was involved? What happened? Where did it take place? When did it take place? Why did that happen?
Doubtful denial IMO. Antiduopolist is more than likely looking for a reaction from those that are "triggered" by AOC and her "peers", also my opinion .
Oh my........yes, she definitely gets a visceral reaction from you. She bothers me not and I don't agree with her 85% of the time. Her voice and opinion and stand are as valid as yours and mine and I don't see her as a threat. She is representative of the far left and her rise is a-symptomatic of the Republican party under Trump (actually since Obama) moving to the polar right. Newton's third law.
Wow, is this your real opinion? Seriously? If it is, I hope it can be changed somewhere in the future.
Wow, so the hispanic woman I dated for a couple of years hated me. How about that. LOL!!! She married another white man.
And she likely hates him too ..........the poor woman is stuck in a self imposed "victim" cycle!!!!!!
Yes and did you read my post about me disagreeing with 85% of her positions? Yet, she is representative of a portion of the American population and likely rose to power as a direct reaction to Donald Trump and his rhetoric and positions.
Yes, it really is my opinion. I used to be a far left radical. Then I went back to school and was forced to take classes about social justice, Howard Zinn's history of America and others. While writing a paper I came across web sites about race relations. That was eye opening. After two quarters of having a pity party for 'minorities' I got sick and tired of it. So will I change my mind? No. maybe one day you will change your mind, but I doubt that.
Stop that. Critical thinking skills have been supplanted by knee-jerk emotional based auto-responses. Learn it, remember it, practice it. Geez, some people....
Didn't read "nonevent" thread. So, a "RW troll" is to blame for this "smear" attempt, yet a LW poster made this thread and I don't see many or any RW or nonleft threads on PF about this. Seems no one cares about this much but LW outrage. Irony.
Shocker, opinions can be stupid and stupid opinions can be called out. I have yet to see an intelligent policy idea from her backed up by any semblance of her understanding the issue. Conservatives point that out isnt fearing her, it's the opposite, and her being a woman has zero to do with anything.
I think the nation was in the state it is long before AOC came into government. Trump is the logical conclusion of a system that has been moving toward total dysfunction for years.
