Virginia Tech involved common handguns with ten round magazines. What is your definition of an "assault weapon"

It is a made up term that anti gun liberals use in order to make low wattage voters think certain firearms are used for CRIMINAL ASSAULT when in reality, the term assault RIFLE is a military term depicting a MILITARY action involving the suppression of return fire by several infantrymen firing such rifles in full auto mode, allowing engineers to destroy the fortified position being assaulted with explosives. The guns anti gun lefties call "assault weapons" lack the very feature that makes a real military assault rifle useful for the operation of a MILITARY ASSAULT-that being full auto capability.

Ah common, everybody knows assault rifles are made in Hollywood, have endless capacity clips, never miss their target, are are primarily intended for taking out school and nightclub targets. You can buy them off the shelf anywhere you see red MAGA cap or those white supremist Walmart’s. There’s even coupons for ‘em where they come with 1000’s of rounds super deadly bullets; no waiting in line and no paperwork to sign.

In truth, there is nothing that actually separates a so-called "assault weapon" from any other commonly available firearm that has been on the private market since the early twentieth century. The differences are merely cosmetic at best, and pertain more to presentation style over substance. Modern firearms are no more dangerous or unique than those over one hundred years old.
