I just pointed out, in the OP's own source, why this story has nothing to do with black babies. It is about forcing black women to do something against their will.

My point stands. This thread is garbage because it elicits an emotional response by misrepresenting the words and intentions of the subject. This story has nothing to do with aborting black babies. It has only to do with a lawmaker who is fighting for women's rights.

The pretense is that democrats encourage black people to have abortions as a form of ethnic cleansing or population control. That is most commonly argued in these kinds of stories from Breitbart News. This thread is intended to be no different.

Now moving along....what is it that you guys have issues with? Black people? Or abortions?

 

Because that's how she wrote the amendment..... I provided a link to the actual amendment and she explicitly exempt black babies from the pro-life heart beat bill that passed the Ohio house.

There is NOTHING from the OP stating that black women are being forced to do anything other than thanks to the new law, if there is a heartbeat detected, they can no longer abort the child. The argument is that the amendment asked to exempt black babies from he heartbeat bill which was offered up by a black democrat.

If anything, the Ohio state republicans are trying to save black babies by poo poohing the amendment.

It's garbage only for the fact that you are intentionally making a false argument up as her amendment explicitly only called for black women to be exempt.. Not all women.

FACT: Ohio State Legislative was in the process of passing a law that made abortions illegal after the first heartbeat of the embryo was detected.
FACT: Janice Boyd, a Democrat State Representative proposed an amendment that would exempt black women from the proposed law....basically she wanted black women to be allowed to have abortions even after the first heartbeat is detected.
FACT: This has absolutely NOTHING to do with forcing black women to do something against their will.
FACT: There is nothing in this proposed bill that requires anybody to have an abortion.
FACT: The headline of Ohio Democrat Drafts Amendment Seeking To Make Black Babies Exempt From Pro-Life Law is factually and literally correct. She was an Ohio Democrat. She did draft an amendment. And the amendment was to exempt black women from the restrictions of the Pro-Life bill.

Nobody is encouraging black people to have abortions. Ms. Boyd is not encouraging black people to have abortions.....she just wants black women to have the option even if a heartbeat is detected.

 

Why support a race based law?

Believe me, I am trying, but I completely fail to see how the article title is misleading AT ALL. The title does not imply what you are saying and the article does not support your claims......not in any way. Nobody is forcing black women to get abortions. Nobody is trying to kill more black babies.

If you want to "white knight" the opinions of others that may or may not be accurate in your opinion, then you are likely going to be a very busy person on this forum. You will likely find yourself on everybody's "ignore list" quickly, but you will be busy.

There is NOTHING highly suggestive, flame-baiting, pandering, or confirmation bias in the article or the thread title. If you are seeing it, you will need to point it out and explain it to us "slower" people.
