Tecoyah...... even if you are not being serious......... even if you are mostly joking........ what you just wrote could have some validity to it because...... if aliens are working on a plan to prevent humanity in this time line from having an all out nuclear war......... any of us could be inspired...... perhaps by angels, aliens, an over soul, deceased relatives...... or the being of light of NDE fame..... to at least research this topic and become more well informed about this part of the formula....... http://www.allaboutchristian.com/spirituality/ chapter 2......
Well you might put me in the RR category. I don't care. None of us know for certain. Only by faith do we know for certain. Anyone that says they know, they know by faith. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for....the evidence of things unseen. By faith, I know where I am going, I knew my soul was eternal instinctively as far back as I remember. No doubts. Now that I am older, I have a good general idea as to my afterlife in this world. I may have some misconceptions, but by faith I know it is far better than anything I have ever experienced or could conceive. Others, by faith, have a completely different conception. I'll but my conception of faith against the "dirtnap conception" any day. And if I am wrong....well it will just be a dirtnap.
Perhaps I am a nut in thinking this....... but I believe that you are actually being inspired and guided to participate in certain discussions...... in the way that you do....... You will also have some fun with this...... My choice was...... * Yes.... I know of reliable people who saw a UFO. http://www.politicalforum.com/index...gree-could-aliens-prevent-nuclear-war.500648/ To what degree could aliens prevent nuclear war?
If there is something after death and I was clinically dead for a short time due to a combat engagement but they brought me back quickly....hood old boy's in their Blackhawk MEDEVAC Choppers.....my experience was like sleeping without dreaming. Dying is easy....living is the bitch!! AA
It is only about twenty percent of people who have a brush with death who remember an out of body experience or near death experience. The subject is certainly catching a lot of attention these days though. Fascinating that during his OOBE he finds out that he has a sister who was miscarried. He had never been told about her before his NDE. 34, 739,963 views on this so far: 11 yr Old Went to Heaven and Back, and Tells What He Saw!
Geez! It's really scary that there is so little difference between far out intentional sarcasm and some people's understanding of reality.
Your journey in the next life will depend on what you learned in this life. If you were a pig in this life, perhaps you will live the next as a pig
Oh .... it all counts. What it counts for however, depends whether or not that war itself was just and whether or not one's actions in that war were just If the war was not just or one's actions were not just - perhaps in the next life one will be on the other side of the equation. There is one rule for human conduct towards other humans that Rabbi Jesus stresses the most - " Treat others as you would be treated/Do unto others as you would have done to you" aka The Golden Rule. Other restatements of this rule are "Judge not lest you be Judged" ... "Let ye who is without sin cast first rock", I like Peter Tosh's version of this one "If you live in a Glass House, Don't throw stones" (and suggest listening to the song as it is good one ) others include "Love neighbor as thyself" the rule that James, brother to Jesus, calls the Royal Law. "take log out of own eye before picking speck out of brothers" and so on. Brother Jesus was not the only one .. Brothers Buddha, Confucious and the great Law giver Hammurabi also stated this rule. The founders also liked this rule as it is the basis for the social contract and the principles on which this nation was founded. This rule is also the foundation of the Rule of Law. Just follow this one an you are good to go
Not true. An excellent read is “Many Lives, Many Masters” by Dr. Brian Weiss. The woman he's writing about, whether as a male or female incarnation was always either a slave or a maid or someone very low born.
Likely he was sarcastically indicating the unlikelyhood of validity in such claims and the inherently disingenuous qualities they represent. Though I'm sure people enjoy the idea but there is no affirmative data.
You're wrong. Read the book and also one by Dr.Elizabeth Kubler Ross. I know you won't because you have a closed mind.
If there was an end to your existence - you would not be here Matter an energy transform - one into the other- at the subatomic level. We can then say that we are made of energy. At some point energy arranged itself in such a way as to gain awareness of itself. Proof: We exist. There is then a finite probability that energy will arrange itself into a configuration that is aware of its own existence. In an infinite amount of time every finite probability will repeat itself an infinite number of times. Existence is then infinite. If there was an end to the possibility of existence - then you would not be here
Teen admits he lied about dying, going to heaven http://nypost.com/2015/01/16/teen-admits-he-lied-about-dying-going-to-heaven/
Bingo - as Krishna (the Supreme Godhead) tells Arjuna before the battle; "Never was there a time when I did not exist, nor you, nor all these kings; nor in the future shall any of us cease to be."
That suggests to me, that Krishna had an instinctive understanding that e=mc2. We are starstuff and have existed for billions of years, and upon the death of "me", that which is "me" shall once again transform and eventually wind up in the another heart of a star.
Actually.... that article is NOT about Colton Burpo but is about another teenager who had a near death experience as a child but.......... his parents and family and pastor were so set against these near death experience accounts that they verbally hammered away at the young guy with scriptures...... that they thought they understood.... and they convinced the teenager that what he reported as a child..... contradicted the Bible...... so he must have imagined it and / or lied...... and rather than be ostracized by his family and church..... he recanted! Colton Burpo's case is different because his dad has the humility to learn from his son and did not feel that he had to have any control over what his son reported from his NDE.... My own personal all time record for getting excommunicated from churches is two..... in roughly one month. Both of these churches had a dogmatic "soul sleep" teaching that leaves essentially zero possibility of a near death experience. In 1991 I got myself kicked out of the Worldwide Church of God and out of an offshoot, The Philadelphia Church of God, due primarily to my refusal to stop talking about near death experience accounts.
I like your "Quantum Particle/Wave Forms" theory as the breakdown of the body would be a function of the strings changing resonance.
Hate to tell you but Matter is completely comprised of Quantum Particle/Wave Forms of Energy. Thus Matter is Energy.....and they are interchangeable especially if you have and understand a UFT or Unifield Field Theory. AA
