It's not meant to do either one. It mainly keeps Omicron from killing you, which Omicron still can do quite readily. Vaccines aren't a force shield which keeps microbes off you entirely. They allow your body to fight the disease off, often quite comfortably, instead of dying by being crucified internally.

The government and CDC with whom I am familiar never claimed that a vaccine would "stop covid," that vaccination would prevent all hospitalizations, that killed thousands of children with an experimental polio vaccine, that forced everyone to be vaccinated, that paid hospitals to misdiagnose covid, that knowingly ignored reputable studies, etc.

If the government and CDC that infest your noggin exist outside your noggin, please provide documentation from reputable sources to substantiate your nonsense.
