Did Wikileaks expose collusion and corruption between Trump and Fox? No? So what relevance does your objection have?

The mainstream media is not like Breitbart. Most Americans still get their news from mainstream sources in one form or another. More importantly, Breitbart doesn't pretend to be unbiased and objective, like the mainstream media does. The American public should be made aware of the kind of propaganda that comes from mainstream media and how involved they are with the Democratic party. Sorry that's a bummer to those of you on the left, but it's happening whether you like it or not.

It's a whole lot of nothing to you only because you don't want to see anything except a reason to bash Trump.

They are free to report on his tweets, just like he is free to not help the progressive media sabotage his own Presidency.

This thread is about how Trump has to tweet his comments due to a biased media.

How is Trump controlling and inhibiting the free press?

Is he keeping them from saying what they want to say?

If you believe they are, how so then?

No he actually doesn't. As you said, he is completely free not to. He is completely free to Tweet with messages actually befitting a person holding the highest office.

If by questioning you mean the infantile rant that FNN reporter went on as he tried to browbeat the President during a press conference after being told his time was over - then yes.

Your subjective opinion on what a message "befitting a person holding the highest office" is will look a lot different from mine.

    You think. . .

Going after SNL, going after his own show, going after random celebrities. . .yeah we definitely have different subjective opinions if you think this is something the President should be doing on a daily basis for the next 4-8 years.

Right, what kind of President would spend his time insulting celebrities?

Just about anything Trump says and tweets is an outrageous lie it seems. That us why I refer to him as LICE TRUMP. Of cites on Friday I will have to find something more fitting to call him since the "E" part of LICE will no longer apply.

I am thinking. CLOTUS ---Chief Liar Of The US

    That wasn't the Russian objective.

As for Breitbart, it's true that they don't pretend to be objective, but a lot of their fans take them at face value. Fox does pretend to be objective, which is laughable. NSNBC does not.

The New York Times does not pretend it is not a liberal paper. But they keep it on the editorial page.

    Doesn't matter.

Trump is going to be just fine with superficial opposition research like this.

Being able to speak freely without a biased 3rd party filtering everything is not the same as a dictatorship.

no one has filtered his speech, everything he says is aired for the public, and will be as president as well and you know it

but will Trump let the public question his speech? or be more like a dictator?

The mainstream media will selectively report on what Trump does, making sure to give their biased left-wing opinion whenever possible in order to influence public opinion. This has all been done before. Look at what they did to the first George Bush:

lmao, twitter is staying connected :)

is that how someone does business. twitter is for petty simple broadcasts. i would think a person in charge would be a little more concise and verbose to help prevent any ambiguity

FOX isn't a mainstream media source like ABC, CBS, NBC, NYT, etc.

    - - - Updated - - -

He could release videos over the internet as well. Maybe he can start up his own news network.

And not let anyone else speak at all.

A dictator is flat out telling you he's going to take over the free press. I guess you must be great fan of authoritarianism since you think it's so great

How is Trump going to "take over the free press" by not working with the MSM?

The hysterics since Trump's election have been very entertaining. I hope they continue.
