[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yrT-0Xbrn4&feature=player_embedded"]New York Observer: Exclusive "Occupy Wall Street" Unaired Fox Footage - YouTube[/ame] Intelligent and to the point. Shame this interview has pretty much zero chance of making it to Fox news. We haven't had real conversations like this since most media. It is time for the bankers to be punished, we need some financial reform, and it is time to have a real health care reform discussion. Good to see a fellow citizen I am proud of.
How am I supposed to take the guy seriously when he's walking around in a Civil War Army hat? Can you say nut job?
Umm, you do realize the reporter is from Fox? And that he is one of two that Bill O'Reilly sends out for stories?
You do realize O'Reilly comes on later this evening, right? I suggest you to turn FOX on and watch until you go to bed, just to make sure.
He didn't say anything of substance, he complained about fox, about Glen Beck, said the right wants to destroy middle class, and said he wants more social justice. All in all it looks like the usual talking points. Pretty much verbatim of the stuff that comes out of MSNBC. The only thing I do agree with him on is that the current media is gabrage. Punish them if they break the law, punishing them because they are rich is the antithesis of freedom. What do you want to punish them for? The Democrats just passed a huge multi thousand page bill of financial reform? Are you saying that its not fixing or able to fix the systemic problems? Do you agree with the bill? I am willing to have a real health care reform discussion, but what you really mean is a discussion that ends in the type of reform you want. Which I am guessing is universal healthcare. I am completely against such, as our current healthcare system is a Frankenstein created by government and giving the government more control won't fix it. How about this, if you want government healthcare you sign up for it and are taxed accordingly, if you don't want it then you can buy private insurance and don't have to pay taxes for healthcare. Of course there would need to be some work done on insurance regulation, but a voluntary government healthcare would be fine with me as long as none of my tax dollars went to supporting it if I supported myself. Im glad to see another citizen speaking his mind, I think he was heavy on partisan talking points with little substance, but its just my opinion, and not worth anything in the grand scheme of things.
The guy in the video said Greta Van Sustren i believe, watch her show if you want the best chance to find it.
Remember when those bankers were breaking into your home and making you sign the subprime mortgage. Such a rash of forced signings of contracts from people that knew they could never pay off a loan when they didn't have a job. And those evil bankers were holding guns to so many racial minorities, getting them off the street and just berating them till they signed up to protest to get the rest of the banks to force others to sign up for subprime mortgages. Yeah, those evil banks that didn't want to take these risky loans in the first place should be punished...
Yeah, that guy had no hyperbolic arguments and his facts were spot on...like how we should be doing more for social justice and less worrying about this "Solydnra" thing. The birth certificate is one thing, but to be out protesting against crony capitalism, something the TEA party started protesting in 2008 when all you liberal hippies called them racist terrorist, but doesn't want us to focus on how the Obama administration forked over $500 million to a company that pretty much told him they were going to go bankrupt. Sad how blind liberals really are.
