Actually, regardless of partisanship, all those who still believe ethics are important in our lives and especially in our leaders, see impeachable offenses. multiple ones .

You would have a point if it were their show. I don't buy from either side and certainly don't buy what the dems are selling in this case. Its a hard sell and its your show.

 

Damn right its a hard sell. But so far every objection or defense from tumpians seems to be getting knocked down as witnesses and facts keep developing the case.

I do think it rather ironic that proud patriotic americans think nothing of the fact that the subject of the investigation is obstructing said investigation by forbidding the key players from transparently, openly and honestly testifying to what actually happened. Why its almost like they think the President is above the law and the constitution.

 

Sure looks like a crime. Sure sounds like a crime. Sure smells like a crime. Trump is obstructing like its a crime. So naturally he is entirely innocent and its all an eeeevilllle dem plot to crucify the 46th Best President in history.

 

If "I heard form someone else that Trump did (x) but I have no -direct- knowledge of anything" is "development,", then sure.

Sure thing. I have noticed that exactly like their dear leader, Trumpians think simple declarative statements of opinion are sufficient defense of the indefensible. Crime? that is for the lawyers and judges to determine.

OTOH, lowlife sleazy mob-like behavior from the president of the united states and Commander in Chief? To me whether there is a specific criminal statute or not it is the kind of "high crime and misdemeanor" the founders were talking about.

 

Er, its still an investigation. The trial comes later, if and when an "indictment" arising from that investigation is issued.
