I think they stopped getting paid, so they didn't need to spend the prerequisite number of hours trolling here. Just my theory=)

In UK, hundreds of people have been jailed for offensive tweets.

No, it doesn't. But the use of "blanket" bumperstickers as shorthand for the intellectually lazy and stunted is of course a classic tactic.

    Thanks for playing.

I dont' know about that. I've been banned by stormfront on three different occasions (changed alias, email, IP) seems the far right neo nazi haters of the world are even quicker to ban. But the quickest is r/TheDonald. Hard core haters with the thinnest of skins and bad reactions to the truth.

The U.S. has many problems with political correctness silencing open debate. But based on the OP, we may be the last, best hope of relatively free speech.

In our Constitution, there is no right not to be offended.

Indeed, and similar things happen in Canada and europe. In Germany the police make the rounds after muslim terror attacks to find people who speak their minds about radical islam.

The american left would like to see that here too.

Sometimes online abuse can be very sustained and dehumanizing, but USA has First Amendment.

Denying it doesn't make you right. It means you just don't accept it. Doesn't matter either way. You're going to keep losing elections until you realize it.

And spouting them doesn't make you right. It just identifies an inflexible knee jerk partisan.

If it doesn't mean anything one way or another, then what exactly is meaningful in elections? good looks? False promises? Fear? Or entrenched unthinking personal identification with a party, regardless of the actual issues?

Considering how many americans vote against their own self interest without having any clue, I'd be interested in your answer.

Actually, I can prove everything I just said about your party. Do you want me to show you how intolerant your party is?

    Not my party.

But I keep discussing the aspects of blind partisansim and you keep interpreting it as a biased attack on republicans.

Its a problem with the political system in the US where it seems since there are only two real alternatives a "tribal" association amongst the generally uninformed masses has been created, where regardless of their own feelings and situations , they simply follow the herd they have identified with. Its so much easier both intellectually and emotionally for them.

As for the "your bad is worse than my bad" offer to show how the other side is intolerant, you've just highlighted that "tribalism" in a very clear fashion.

Really? Wow. I can't imagine getting locked up for being "offensive." Yet liberals want us to be like Europe! Go figure.

I feel sorry for the people in your story. I can't imagine living without basic human rights, such as free speech. Someone should find a way to help these Europeans, Australians, and Canadians, who are being oppressed by government overlords, who deny them these human rights.

Yes, progressives are hypocritical pompous arses for the most part. It is a terrible thing, a terrible quality, a terrible characteristic.

Spoken like a true partisan, short on substance and long on abuse. The perfect bumpersticker response.

I do realize that progress is antithetical to conservatives, especially the desire for social improvement and extending equality of human and civil rights to minorities.

Its pretty damn straightforward. Of course you have to "change on-line identities" in order to sign up again.
apart from it being rather emotionally satisfying to tweak the noses of some of the biggest ******** haters on the planet, it isn't very intellectually challenging. Seems there are very few members there with anything remotely approaching a developed intellect while the majority display below average intelligence.

Getting banned is as easy as saying "Jews are better lovers and have bigger dicks than you aryan idiots so its no wonder you hate the jews".

Hate speech threats are NOT a human right, and NOT protected by the 1st amendment. Threaten the president or a congress person or a cop, and go to jail. Hypocritical for that not to apply to regular citizens. It's like the government paying for healthcare for criminals in prison, but not for law abiding citizens. Soon the elderly and sick will have to commit a crime to get healthcare. Cons are the sick ones.

The left would love to jail people for hate speech and of course anyone that said anything they don't agree with would be considered hate speech to them and off to their liberal re-education camp you go.
