That according to the newest Monmouth university poll. Six in ten Americans believe that un-elected or appointed government officials have too much influence in determining federal policy. Twenty-six percent say the right balance of power exists between elected and un-elected officials.”

When the poll described the “deep state” as a group of un-elected non government officials, 75 percent of respondents said they believe there is a group of power players pulling the strings.

They just saw that washed up old unelected Commie, Brennan, threatened the President who stood before the voters in 50 states.

People think Trump is the ultimate bureaucrat who does not care about American freedoms.

    From the link: "
Just over half of the public is either very worried (23%) or somewhat worried (30%) about the U.S. government monitoring their activities and invading their privacy. There are no significant partisan differences – 57% of independents, 51% of Republicans, and 50% of Democrats are at least somewhat worried the federal government is monitoring their activities. Another 24% of the American public are not too worried and 22% are not at all worried.

Fully 8-in-10 believe that the U.S. government currently monitors or spies on the activities of American citizens, including a majority (53%) who say this activity is widespread and another 29% who say such monitoring happens but is not widespread. Just 14% say this monitoring does not happen at all. There are no substantial partisan differences in these results."

    Trump epitomizes an unrestrained bureaucracy.

Well said, KJ - I agree completely.

It requires a breathtaking degree of credulity to think that guppies like McCabe were operating completely on their own. There's never been any question in my mind that this all leads to Obama, but people are going to have to start going to prison before someone decides he's not worth the price to be paid to protect him.

The Mueller Investigation Is THE Cover-Up.

The real scandal here is not Facebook and Cambridge Analytica. The real scandal is Barack Obama spying on the Trump campaign. Barack Obama collecting data on Mitt Romney. Barack Obama spying on domestic enemies of his Iran deal using the American intelligence community to do so. That remains the real scandal, not Zuckerberg, not Facebook, not Cambridge Analytica.

The scandal isn’t selling data consumers have willingly given to advertisers. That’s not what the scandal is. The scandal is the government choosing sides and misusing information it should not have. The scandal is illegal surveillance. The Mueller investigation is essentially a cover-up of all that Hillary and Obama did during the campaign to spy on Trump and to try to engineer a Hillary win so as to get essentially a Barack Obama third term.

I watched the movie Zero Dark Thirty about the CIA's effort to find and then the mission to kill OBL. I don't recall that Obama was part of those efforts or on that helicopter that took the seals to OBL's hide out where they killed him.

You assert just talking to a Russian is collusion? Do you enjoy making fallacious statements?

Sorry, the deep state is counter intuitive to being professionally responsible, therefore incapable of firing one of their own. You do know who recommended he be fired, right? It wasn't Trump or Sessions, it was the FBI...

Oh, Zorro, how silly. The real scandal remains how the alt right and Trumpers continue to cover up for The President Who Would Be Dictator.

Yeah, Obama's contribution to the effort was saying "Ok, fine, go ahead".
