OVER rated actors

I have to admit, I really dislike Sandler, Ferrell, Macquire, and Carrey. On the other hand, I think Penn is great. "Mystic River" was a super movie.

Why do people pay so much to watch a guy act like an emotionless robot in every film?

The least charismatic and dullest permformer of any 'star' in the history of film.

 

The show I watch every night without fail is Fraser. At least until Niles finally gets with Daphne. After that happened, she turned into a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) and I lose interest and wait until it starts all over again with Fraser arriving in Seattle.

Before that comes on, I used to watch Golden Girls but the more I watched, the more I began to dislike all of them, especially Betty White. Their characters are just awful. Mean, hateful, crude, rude, insulting. No thanks.
So now I just watch cooking shows until Fraser comes on. Or History Channel.

Speaking of, and back on topic:

Betty White. Totally overrated. I wish she would retire and get off my screen.

 

Well...I expect a comedy to be funny. Tammy wasn't.

 

What about the part where she holds up the fast food place for the pies? Not funny?

Yeah, I was never very crazy about him either. He is one of those actors that is meant for a certain role and would not be very versatile.

 

The 'mean girl' schtick kind of ran its course already - hasn't it ?

Well, I'll probably still watch it for myself. I thought it looked funny. It's not like I'm going to pay to see it or anything.

 

Yeah - well its sort of like demeanor - (e.g.) I used to like the chubby chicks on '2 Broke Girls'
and 'Broad City' - now they got all mean and now those shows are unfunny like 'Family Guy.'

 

You don't like Family Guy? It's pretty funny sometimes, but I think they sometimes go a little bit in the direction of bad taste (maybe that's an understatement?) Pretty funny sometimes still.

I never liked Two Broke Girls. That is one that I never found to be very funny at all. I guess comedy is in the eye of the beholder.

 

FAMILY GUY WENT WAY OVER THE LINE bashing the retarded, old people and gays and the disabled. I know Seth McFaralane came out of the closet on that sitcom, but is he and his writing staff like self-loathing gays or what? They just seem like the butt of jokes on every show, the sexual sickness aside from that is unfunny. I mean Jesus - Seth there is like a line w/ that s__t, ya'know ? Anyways - like Seth and Bill Maher should get married. They are like major ********s! The extreme violence on Family Guy and American Dad is way out of hand.
Rogers disguises are just boring as hell now.

 

Well, I can agree that they are sometimes distasteful, but I still watch them sometimes. If you think those are bad, you should try watching some of the cartoons on Adult Swim. Robot Chicken, Squidbillies, etc. I do watch Aqua Teen Hunger Force sometimes. It's just one of those so stupid that it makes you laugh things I suppose.

 

I never watched Family Guy. Reading what was said about it, I am glad I haven't.

 

Lol! Probably not something you would enjoy. It's pretty crass and sometimes downright gross. I think it's an acquired taste.

 

If I wanted gross and crass..I could go back to you know where and get hourly doses of it.
I guess I am just totally burned out on negative stuff.

This is a good forum for you I think. Things are way more relaxed around here, as far as trolling posters and nasty language and a "flamer zone." Lol. I think you're really going to enjoy yourself here. That's what you need, relaxation, not stress and anxiety. That's no good for you at all.

 

I like it here a lot. I might do a drive by nose thumb now and then but I won't stay. Done with it.

And guess what! Since not being there like I used to..NO FLARE UPS. None. (knock on wood). I feel really good. No swollen joints. No pain. If someone told me I had RA and didn't know otherwise, I would call them a liar.
Stress does that. I don't get stressed here. No pressure to like this one or that one OR ELSE. Crap like that. Here..I am free.
