What a terrible way to vote. For known Incompetence.
That's why congress has 20% approval rating but over 90% reelection rate.

Gun rights will always be legal. The only thing that changes is the line in the sand.
The constitution puts no limits on arms ownership but we all agree on some limits to owing arms. Especially those of mass destruction.

The only person in the last 2 or 3 presidents to restrict arms was the 2x impeached. Bump stocks illegal.
So, you vote for the party that does limit arms ownership. The only party to do so this century.

My new philosophy on voting, as I detest the corruption and lock the 2 parties gave themselves, is to vote out all incumbents all the time.

There will be no campaign finance to limit the bribes they get.
There will be no term limits to help ensure we don't have politicians in the same office for 40 yrs.

So the only option I can think of is to vote out all incumbents, all the time.

But we have single issue voters, too many of them, even though each party deep down agree on the core of ideologies.
But they play on the partisans and single issue voters very good.

    But the leadership doesn't change.
And the leadership and the DNC and RNC, force new people to follow party lines lock stock and barrel or they're blackballed from being able to do anything at all.

I came up with a new idea. Vote out anyone also, over the age of 70.
For there will never be an upper age limit either.

More and more people need to drop the party BS and become independent.

I generally vote third party for the federal and state offices. For local positions I vote for people I know.

I voted 3rd party more times than not for Pres.
I sometimes vote for the party not in power. I prefer split gov't at this point.

I have voted out State senators and reps, state and federal level, when they have been in office for 2 - 3 terms. Even if I like them.
It has bit me though, as the replacement was someone who I thought turned out terrible.
But, I will stick with my plan to hopefully keep 40 yr politicians out of office.

IMO, people need to do this to bring We The People as something the 2 parties cater to and not the bribe lobbyists that get them elected.

Hiding from those who broke into it was self induced?

The process was delayed when the capitol was breached and they went to hide from them. That was the only delay I know of.

And yet he did more to benefit the nation than any other president in my lifetime. But sadly he has a bad personality which brings out meaningless comments like yours.

What benefits might that be? I can't imagine any benefit for America that crooked Donald did create without having his ego in mind. :(

Of course you can't. Your partisan hatred gets in the way.

EGO: Believing in yourself as well as your values and their importance. The reason to vote for a candidate is that you like their values, and have confidence they will act on those values rather than be a dishrag or puppet.

No question, Biden DOES NOT have an ego. He knows he's making it up as he goes along and fears any criticism, as it reminds him that if fact- he has neither real values nor confidence in what he is doing.
You can't have a record of botching every job you touch and still honestly believe in yourself. Unless of course you are unable to even be aware you have botched the jobs.... and that is much worse.

I also think Joe's ego is very small. Joe (as president) strives to serve the American people. But Trump didn't. Trump wanted to be a dictator and everyone should be his slave.

That's an important difference between Donald and Joe. I think every President should put his country before his personal well-being. That's what voters expect of a president. And Trump failed miserably, so he was voted out. :)

Your view of things is inverted- Joe is neither competent nor caring, and everything he has done proves it.
Trump had his faults- but his heart was in the right place, and he had the courage of his convictions.

IF you can't be equally realistic in your view of those you like and don't like, the real lie is the one you are telling yourself.
All you are doing here is confirming you can't do that.

Joe might be incompetent but does his best. The next president will probably do a much better job if his name is not "Trump". :)

And so he tries to sell himself to the little man, but it's just his personal clown show. DJT is more like a used-car dealer who sells stupid people junk cars for a lot of money. :(

You're right, it's not a shame. In this country you are entitled to make yourself as big a fool as you chose. Not, however, entitled to blame others for the consequences of your decisions.
