The forces to cause unemployment to improve and for wages to improve were part of what G.W Bush accomplished. Democrats pretend it started only with Obama.

The stimulus helped? That's why unemployment skyrocketed to double digits after it passed. All it helped was the DNC donors. Obama never wanted to cut taxes...in fact he increased taxes as well as his party on all middle class americans. see Obamacare

Bush still was president when he infused the auto industry with billions of dollars and also did this for Banks. Some of the Democrats lies are it was Obama. But Bush was working hard in his last months to cure an economy he did not ruin.

Well we have been accused of that by leftist from before my birth. But yet the DNC has kept minorities eating gubmint cheese and living in ghetto's for 100 years!

Even after trillions spent on the war on poverty!

Ya that's Leftist politics and a reality check :)

I keep hearing that, but living here in the Democrats petri dish, (Los Angeles) the results of Dem control show the opposite.

Exactly, the phoney stimulus was a payoff to his union cronies, and a part of that money went to the Democrats in the form of union dues. It was a giant money laundering scheme.

Nobody argued for more tax cuts for the rich...the GOP simply wanted to extend the rate set by the Bush tax cuts. The Dems all were pissed at the law, they wanted to raise taxes.

As to tax improvements going to the wealthy.

Take any area of say 10,000 population in a town. Typical worker earns say $10 per hr. This is purely for illustration by the way.

A very wealthy man moves there. And builds a factory. The poor town now has jobs. And since there is a labor shortage, higher incomes to the workers.

So any help to get the wealthy to that area flows directly to the poor workers.

Republicans understand this. Also any cut in taxes to the wealthy are not funds from the poor or middle class. Funds are simply moved from one wealthy group to other wealthy groups. The rest of us really feel no loss due to tax cuts.

And trump handed to the rest of us a substantial drop in paying taxes and other benefits.

When i moved to Fremont, CA in 1965, this town was not large in population.

In 1960, my town had http://www.bayareacensus.ca.gov/cities/Fremont60.htm

Frankly from 1960 to 1970 a major change was the General Motors Factory that employed early on around 5,000 workers.

Today Fremont has 233,000 in a land area of about 93 sq miles. A good many of those miles are our hills that are severely restricted in building sites. Fremont is ruining the master plan by converting former commercial sites to home sites. Fortunately the city avoids the clumping effect leading to low cost housing and its poorly paid inhabitants. Yet the city does have scattered areas where the housing is definitely lower priced.

Had the rich not came to Fremont, it is doubtful the farming area would have changed.

    1960
    RACE
    White 43,066 98.3%
    Negro 18 0.0%
    Other races 23 0.1%
    Indian 31 0.1%
    Japanese 224 0.5%
    Chinese 115 0.3%
    Filipino 313 0.7%

they refused to let Obama extend the tax cuts for all income 250k and below, republicans refused to extend it unless the rich got their tax cuts extended too

Obama vs what Republicans wanted (that big bubble adds to the debt)

That's what I just said...the GOP wanted to extend the cuts as they were...not give anyone more cuts. The Dems wanted them to expire...Obama wanted part of them to expire....nobody was talking about additional cuts for anyone.

Getting back to how the GOP doesn't care about anyone but the rich, here in LA, we pay extremely high state, city, property, sales, gas, taxes and we are still the poverty capitol of the US. Giving the government more money to solve poverty doesn't appear to be working. Even what's left of our middle class can barely afford to live.

At least the weather is nice!

Obama was a much better friend to O&G then he or the left or the right will ever admit. He's the reason your the largest exporter today.
