CA is already sending mail in ballots to all. Everyone in my household already received a notice.

your link shows irs grown not spiked and obviously it’s gonna grow every year when the largest drivers of debt are ignored and untouched

it has grown at a slower rate before the dems took the house

    And for Democrats.....................you are joking?

Trump has proposed cuts in spending every year and the left has viciously attacked him.

Debt has continued on a consistent trend since 2008 when Obama came into office. Yet, the data shows the trend is less under Trump than under Obama. The ONLY spike I see is when Coronavirus hit which is expected. Hence, both Republicans and Democrats keep the spending consistent. Please keep posting facts that contradict what you are trying to say. Makes my job easier.

Not a fan of Dem spending, but Trump makes them look thrifty by comparison

Of course, that assumes that The House will be elected.

If NO Federal Election is held, the current House terms would expire on Jan. 3rd, and then there would be NO House to pick the President.

And, it seems impossible to elect The House without electing the President, since the same ballots would need to be counted in each CD to get a result.

As has been discussed dozens of times, if NO Federal Election is held, a Dem. Sen. Pro Tem. would take over as President.

Trump has been more thrifty than Obama!

If you would kindly read the graph and maybe learn to draw a trend line, you can easily see it slowing and even leveling off by 2015. Then there's a spike, and then another spike early 2018 and another spike in 2019. Please try reading the graphs. Makes both of our jobs easier.

They aren't forced to pick someone. The Speaker can just become POTUS by default assuming they are eligible to serve. If not it just defaults right over the the Senate PT.

Hardly he is the only proposing cuts in spending, you think HIS budgets have been passed, that's absurd. Just wait these next few nights and listen to the Dems and all the spending they will be proposing and you will hear nothing about the deficit or debt. The Republicans handed the Democrats a paltry $161B deficit in 2007 heading for surplus again. They took it to $1,400B in just two years without a pandemic or a government order shutdown of the economy to save lives with a 10% increase in spending and then a 20% on top of that. They kept the deficit over $1,000B for the next four, only coming down because of Republican sequester and austerity, but that level of spending remained and remains today

Are you freaking serious. If you take the line from beginning of Obama's tenure til the end of Obama's tenure, you will see his trend line continues on at a higher trend than during Trumps campaign. Anybody with or without goggles can see that. Just use a ruler and put it on the paper. Then, you whine about individual mini spikes? Maybe, you should research what caused those spikes before talking out your ***. It may be probable that the Democrat pioneered Budget caused those spikes.

    Graphs are so confusing...
Comparing total debt increases, side by side, for the first three years of Obama and Trump (not that I think it's a legit comparison, since Congress blows the money)...
    OBAMA
    FY 2010 - $1.652 trillion
    FY 2011 - $1.229 trillion
    FY 2012 - $1.276 trillion
    Total - $4.157 trillion

    TRUMP
    FY 2018 - $1.271
    FY 2019 - $1.203
    FY 2020 - $1.181 (projected)
    Total - $3.655 trillion

So you want to compare a recession handed to a Democrat but ignore the recession caused by a Republican because it was hurting the right states...

    Fascinating metrics

"Election central"? More like DISASTER CENTRAL! We face the real possibility, as yet very small, of the Presidential election being tossed into the House of Representatives. Not to mention every other election, from dogcatcher on up being contested because of real or imaginary mail- in voting "irregularities". Think 2000's Bush vs Gore divided the country along partisan lines?

No, see my disclaimer. Congress spends the money. Obama took 8 years and crapped on the economy the entire time. The economy grew slowly despite Obama. And now we have Wuhan Virus to thank for a messed up GDP currently.

These sorts of arguments are often silly. Spending by Congress is out of control. They profit from it personally. They profit from China and the Ukraine and everywhere else we give foreign aid. They're legally allowed to insider trade. It's ridiculous and making the debt a partisan issue is just stupid. It's a Congress problem. Congress SUCKS.

Democrats protected Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac against the objections of the Bush Administration and thus were low-key responsible for the crisis then they bailed out the banks.

Again. Over and over liberals claim Trump is defunding [sic] the USPS. The USPS does not receive Federal funding and has not for years. So given that fact please explain your "defunding" comment.

And it is not rocket science to understand there are existing problems with mail-in ballets.

BUT, how would you expect The House to be elected if the President Wasn't?

If they are capable of certifying a Final (Decisive) Vote in a CD (to seat a Congressman) then they would also be capable of certifying a Presidential Vote.

Believe me, I'm all for allowing the lower rungs of society who have been laid off to fall by the wayside, but public perception may be bad.

Not sure what your alternative would be, but unfortunately we have to spend money because governors and mayors have shut off their own funding when they closed down businesses.

By 2019 the US was spending as much on interest as they were Medicare. Not sure how much of that you blame on Trump (my guess is all of it), but I think given the circumstances, there's not many options.

The House members do not have to go through electoral college approval process so far as I know. The state certifies them and that is it.

Yea, that's one of the latest line dems are using, they (Pelosi and Obama) are also claiming that Social Security Checks would be held up. The ex-Prez and the Speaker of the House didn't know SS checks stopped being sent during his administration seven years ago.
