Why don't you stop watching CNN for five seconds and find out yourself?

You're the one peddling childish gradeschool fantasies about the supposed nobility of US foreign policy, not me.

You're the one who still believes US mythologies that have been flatly contradicted by mountains of empirical evidence.

So what do you think projecting your own failures on to others will accomplish?

You don't have empirical evidence. You have liars on the internet who claim there are mountains of empirical evidence.

Durandal is aware of the facts. He simply chooses to ignore them or brush them aside. Why he behaves this way is anyone's guess. It's especially mysterious since he used to believe the exact opposite of everything he now professes to believe. When I asked him about his radical flip-flop, he had no response or answer.

Here's some empirical evidence for you: The US has been propping up the world's worst dictatorship for decades, proving the utter phoniness and insincerity of the pro-US narratives you frequently peddle on this forum.

In other words, you cannot answer a simple question, so you make up some lame excuse and hope people will be stupid enough to buy it.

The "WMD" narrative used to justify the war in Iraq was a massive fiction concocted by intelligence agencies, politicians, and corporate media outlets. This is a fact that no amount of obtuse denial can change.

You're the one who is anti-American. You're the one who wants to steal our money and waste it on imperialist disasters that do nothing but cause chaos.

Saddam Hussein was helped into power by the CIA. This is known. The CIA is happy to put bloodthirsty, murderous despots into power if they believe it will serve the interests of big banks and arms manufactures.

That's because Saudi Arabia is the heart and soul of international terrorism. Yet faux patriots like you do everything you can to provide the Saudi terrorist factories with cover and concealment.

It makes no difference how good the rank and file in the military are if the people leading them are villains.

And what do you know about the US military aside from the propaganda you've been fed by the government and the media? You obviously never served in it, so how would you know? I knew Marines who were total scumbags. I knew Marines who lied, cheated, and stole. I also knew Marines who killed civilians both intentionally and unintentionally. Just because someone joins the military doesn't automatically make them a good person. Did this really need to be explained to you? Isn't it time that you grew up and started living in the real world?

The US caused the total destruction of Iraqi civilization. Nothing you say will change that.

Yup. The Islamic militants that the CIA armed, financed, and trained in Afghanistan are the same extremists who started Al Qaeda. The CIA taught them how to wage asymmetric warfare, AKA, terrorism. The US government creates a problem and then offers up a "solution" that involves bigger and more expensive government. It's the classic example of a racket.

That's right, change the subject. Because we both know you are not a real American. Which eastern European backwater are you from? Ukraine? Lithuania?

The estimates range between 100,000 and 1,000,000. The lower range of estimates are clearly wrong as they only count deaths that were documented and which were caused by violence. Such lower range estimates fail to account for unodocumented deaths and deaths that were nonnviolent yet attributable to the US occupation. The number of dead caused by the Iraq war easily exceeds one million. In wars, most civilian deaths are caused by lack of medicine, food, and energy, not direct violence. Although we will never know the exact number, it is more than reasonable to infer from the available evidence that the death toll was gigantic, horrific, and totally unacceptable.

There is no question that is was significantly more stable than it was after the invasion. And to the extent it was unstable prior to the invasion, that can be largely attributed to US sanctions which were intentionally destabilizing the Iraqi economy and causing death and misery on an enormous scale.

Your hero in the White House loves them most of all. It's really funny in light of what he said and wrote about them and Hillary during the 2016 campaign.

But they're not all bad. Not as bad as Putin, not as bad as Assad, not as bad as Maduro, not even as bad as Bibi.

The government in Kiev is swarming with fascists. And the armed forces of western Ukraine are spearheaded by proud neo-Nazis who want to ban the Russian language and ethnically cleanse the eastern half of the country. So not only are you a cheerleader for Al Qaeda in Syria, you're also a cheerleader for neo-Nazis in Ukraine.

He's not my hero. You have far more in common with Trump than I do. You're both unabashed apologists for US imperialism who continue to agitate for "regime change" operations that have nothing to do with defending America.

Trump is merely continuing a policy that has existed for decades.

Trump is a giant sticking hypocrite, just like someone else I could mention.

    Are you deranged?

At least they were elected to office. In Saudi Arabia, there are no elected officials of any kind because the entire system of government is a hereditary dictatorship. Saudi Arabia's political and religious culture is diametrically opposed to all western principles and values. Yet here you are defending them while simultaneously trying to claim the mantle of human rights and democracy.

Seriously, how do you live with such rank hypocrisy?

Putin isn't elected to office. He does a good job of making it look that way, though. Same with the others, except Bibi. He, like Trump, was elected even in a fair democratic system.

I'm psychic when it comes to knowing where people are. I realized that when the Smart girl was kidnapped. I knew she was still in Salt Lake City even though it was against all probabilities. I also know that Madeline McCain is in NW Spain - but no one asks me.

As for connecting dots, I like to solve historical mysteries. I know Christopher Columbus' real name and why he had to hide his identity. He was never in Genoa, but pretended he was from the island of Chios which was part of the Republic of Genoa to hide his identity. Otherwise he and his descendants would have been killed by the Ottomans.

As for you, I think you're on Soros' payroll.

If you believe that about me, then I am definitely not going to take any of your other psychic hunches seriously

I'd consider working for Soros if he pays well, though. Where do I sign up?

    It's not a psychic hunch, it's just a suspicion.
