It's not done. You're dicking around with someone that won't ever agree on a single objective fact. And you know it.
Perry didn't do it all by himself. He's part of the fabric in Texas that believes in lower taxes, smaller government and not regulation business out of existence. Which means Perry won't get to the White House and need to have a crash course on private sector job creation like the current Vacationer in Chief.
Ya Rich "The Closet Homo" Perry created jobs! Or did he... http://www.thereformedbroker.com/2011/08/14/re-texas-gov-rick-perrys-job-creation/ OOPS! looks like this is in dispute...lets check some other sources... Oh my...Hey Mikey...can YOU afford to work for minimum wage? Oh poor Ricky...this is gonna be a tad embarrassing when those nasty T-Baggers find out that not only is Ricky a closet homo, but also a SOCIALIST SCUMBAG!!! The NERVE of that guy! Imposing REGULATIONS on business. Comon T-Baggers...this guy is a SOCIALIST! GO GET 'IM KIDS!!!
It's the Romer-Bernstein report, and I've had it since minutes after it was released. It says NOTHING of the sort that you have claimed. Here is something that it does say. Bottom of page 2. Maybe you missed it... It should be understood that all of the estimates presented in this memo are subject to significant margins of error. There is the obvious uncertainty that comes from modeling a hypothetical package rather than the final legislation passed by the Congress. But, there is the more fundamental uncertainty that comes with any estimate of the effects of a program. Our estimates of economic relationships and rules of thumb are derived from historical experience and so will not apply exactly in any given episode. Furthermore, the uncertainty is surely higher than normal now because the current recession is unusual both in its fundamental causes and its severity. You don't have the required evidence. You made a claim that an entire national election would turn on a single number, based on a verbatim quote that you were completely certain Romer had said and 99.5% certain that Obama had said as well. But you can't find a single solitary shred of evidence indicating that anyone said it at all. You've got nothing. Just plain nothing. Your claim was a total lie, and you are nothing but a fraud and a hoax for having made it. As if anyone needed to be told any of that at this point...
tell me, what was Obama's past budget shortfalls? hmm in the trillions thats right! You can't afford minimum wages to live on in NJ, hell no, this liberal state we are taxed through the ass. TX, I probably could make ends meet. BTW-that graph doesn't show anything.
and so how will you be helping your country by voting for a 3rd party candidate who while more closely reflecting your views, can't be elected? either Obama or a Republican will be elected POTUS in November '12 I don't plan to support Romney for the Repub nomination, but either Romney or Perry will be the nominee and I will walk over glass barefoot to vote for either in November '12 in order to defeat Obama.
Just looking around for liars and ignoramuses to point out. Found one of each so far. Yes, they did, and for very good reason. They just never made the claim that the lie above said they did. Neither did Obama. No one did. LOL! That's a report from July 2009 (after February) retelling the right-wing propaganda version of events that had been fabricated and put into the Echo Chamber for Small Minds in April. What you are looking for is a link to someone actually saying such a thing prior to the pasage of ARRA on February 17. But you won't find one. None exists because it was never said. Except that there is no such claim made anywhere in it. The purpose of the memo was to illustrate that the unemployment rate would peak earlier and at a lower level with a stimulus bill of the sort that Obama was proposing than it would without. Mission accomplished. Does Romer so much as mention an 8% unemployment rate? No, she doesn't. Does she promise anything at all? No, she doesn't do that either. Yeah, I had read the report by about 6:30 the morning it was released. There is no claim or promise in it. None. There is the cautionary text I quoted earlier from the bottom of page 2. Their supposed titles being of what possible bearing exactly? No one questions who they are. The question is over what they said. The quote presented above was false. No one made such a claim or promise. It's a right-wing lie. What she said was, "One could have presented it differently. If we'd only talked about the effect of the stimulus on the change in unemployment, it would have been better. The thing I obviously couldn't control is the baseline forecast, and that's the thing I'm getting criticized for." What she's talking about is the bottom-of-page-2 caveat that various clown-bots ignore, plus the inherent limitations of working in mid to late December 2008 with what were then the current data. Using those same data, the private sector blue chip consensus for the maximum unemployment rate in 2009 was 8.2%. Romer and Bernstein had it close to 9%. Obama himself was talking at the time about the possibility of double-digit unemployment. That's why DeMint and other sharpie Republicans were accusing him of exaggerating the severity of the situation. Brilliant bunch, those Republicans. Especially at economics. LOL! Your ignorance is so vast that it prevents you from comprehending the full scope of it.
So, we gave him his trillion dollar hog slopping fund AND we got double digit U3 anyhow. Epic fail by any metric.
Since there was a disclaimer at the end of the report, basically one of those "and it is also possible that we don't know what we are talking about", then that means that Obama and his folks are not accountable. So there won't be a refund ? You are such a fail 17.
Read something. ARRA was projected to save or create 3+ million jobs by the end of 2010. That's a little more than two points shaved off the unemployment rate. By every major public and priavte sector tracking analysis done of the bill, ARRA was all but right on that target. Did you want more? Then you would have had to pay for more. A bigger package would have even more effective, there is no real doubt about that.
LOL!!! Where's the 8%??? Where's The Promise??? You post a bunch of completely irrelevant and off-topic materials that don't address the question at all, and you think this makes you look clever? It makes you look like a stooge. Far from there being any promise of any specific number at all in the Romer Bernstein Report, there is an explicit caveat that the literal numbers cannot be taken as established on account of the extraordinary nature and severity of the Great Bush Recession. What CAN be taken from the report is all that it was intended to demonstrate -- that unemployment would peak earlier and at a lower rate with a stimulus bill of the sort and magnitude that Obama was proposing than without.
Bet your ass. I want the money back. That one line sold America a trillion dollars of hopenchange. Now...well....things were worse than we thought. I think things might have been better than they thought. Their smackdown of commerce through Obamacare and cap n' trade and .....killed all hope. Feel free to tender your apologia or unfalsifiable hypothesis de jour
And Perry is responsible for how much of that? And LMAO at the idea that a minimum wage job can bring home decent money to live just because the cost of living is lower in Texas. Texas is still in the U.S., it's not Somalia. And I'm not going to address your last issue. That has nothing to do with the initial argument. It's just you backtracking into a strawman.
I was pretty happy with the serving dished out 10 months ago to 64 more seats at the table. More please.
That lemon in the corner is a nice "twist", eh ? Streetcorner is riding one horse into the coming election season. And a few of us have other stallions beneath us. PLACE YOUR BETS !!! Hahahahahaha 17.
Yes, everyone vote for Rick Perry. Let's also burn an American flag and tattoo "I'm a globalist stooge" on our foreheads. Conservatives should be up in arms over this guy being pitched their way. http://bunkerville.wordpress.com/2011/08/15/slick-rick-perry-supports-bi-national-health-insurance-with-mexico/
listen, you can't (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) about the jobs being minimum wage, and than (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) that Perry didn't help create them. Its either one or the other. And its not a strawman. I just honestly want to know if you rather the people be unemployed than have jobs paying min. wage.
