I'm old enough to remember a history of fairly constant "scientific" climate change alarmists. Greta is not.

When I was 16 years old, we were all going to freeze in an Ice Age in the next decade. There was a consensus of scientists who said so.

They finally figured out to stop actually predicting the direction of natural climate cycles and just go with "Climate Change". Easier to defend. 1) I'm saying that the demographic most wedded to climate activism, is statistically the most destructive demographic on planet earth. IOW, educated middle class (and above) First Worlders. Working class First Worlders have much smaller footprints. Check the stats, it's all there. Meantime, yes, giving up profligate use of electricity worldwide, would be essential to saving the planet. As would giving up newly manufactured goods, and TRAVEL.

2) I'm 'asking' that those who claim we're in a climate emergency, give up the lifestyle mentioned above. Until they do, their protests and protestations are comical tantrums founded on a desire to keep hogging resources.

3) Do you have any idea what it takes to manufacture a car? MAKING the beasts is at least half of the problem. Greener fuel is just a copout.
