........If you consider taking America to the brink of an authoritarian dictatorship "good".

The reason I haven't started a business is freedom. I guess we each have different ideas of freedom. If I owned a business, I'd still be putting in 12 hour days (at least), but I wouldn't get the alternating 3 and 4 day weekends. For me, being an employee offers freedom that a business doesn't.

Not really unless you think the way he talks actually matters. No president handles a national crisis perfectly.

You don't think the way people talk matters? I seriously doubt that.

He sure did. He stood by while the mayors and governors skewered the economy.

    For you, obviously.

I don't have your responsibilities (which act as your boss), and I have loads of free time. Besides, my boss is cool af.

Like I said, we have different ideas of freedom. It would be boring if we all thought the same. Good luck with your biz, btw.

you mean the mayors and governors that follow the Trump shutdown and reopen guidelines?

if Trump was unhappy with his guidelines, he should have changed them

Wow. No one with any familiarity with the subject can honestly say that. Most people are saying we barely dodged a bullet of authoritarian dictatorship. So you're either uninformed or spewing foolishness knowingly. I mean, if you have documented, fact-checked and reliable facts to back that up, I'd like to see it. But I know all you have is spew from RW fake news.

no one was forced to get a public option, everyone kept their private for profit plan - at least last I checked

That's not what he said but it's a good try at a bullshit spin. Any changes were the work of the insurance companies. The ACA didn't force it.

He followed the science just like you suggested. Economic policy isn't scientific. That was a mistake. He couldn't change the guidelines but he could have fought against them. When you are missing an ingredient in a cooking recipe do you substitute, leave it out or abandon the recipe? He didn't write the recipe. He should have warned against following them publicly and put up with garbage you would throw at him.

Give me a break. That is ridiculous. Government skewered it. The governors should have known better. I knew better. Kristi Noem, governor or South Dakota knew better.
