That is 100% correct. Whether police or the citizen(s), people are not computers. In life-death struggles, most people's singular focus is "SURVIVE!" anyway possible. They do not stop and think "What is does the police manual and code of criminal laws" exactly say about this 1/1000th of a second moment.

Again, it is a myth that if you are pointing a gun at someone and they aren't pointing on at you, it is a certainly you could shot that person in a manner instantly making it impossible for the person to still shoot you many times. In fact, at 10 yards of a moving target the odds are as good he'll hit you more times than you hit him, even if you shoot first. Now if the officer was aiming a 50 cal Browning on a tripod behind a 1/2 inch steel plate yes, then the officer could reasonable decide the risk to his life is low, though still present.

Time and time again, police have convinced LEGITIMATE community leaders claiming police shoot innocent people to go thru actual real life police-stop situations with pretend guns (blanks) for the anti-police person to show how they say police should do it. In EVERY situation, that person is "killed" but the suspect - and ALWAYS such anti-police voice completely changes their view - because they FINALLY understand THE REALITY, not the slogans and theories.

    Might be a good idea.

Yes, I understand it can be difficult not to make personal comments about some messages by some members. Been there myself a few too many times.

The article contradicts itself. Without seeing the video we REALLY are just arguing slogans back and forth.

In my opinion, the discharge - and refusal to release the video - is to avoid riots and looting. Remember, this happened in Philly and the MSM will do ANYTHING and SAY ANYTHING to cause a riot to gain viewership. They'd find anyone to say on camera "he had his hands in the air shouting "don't shoot! don't shoot" as the officer carefully shot him multiple times in the back - and then announce people are going to riot on a certain night, place and time to make certain plenty of rioters and looters are there - and so they know where to set up their broadcasting trucks in advance to cover it.

Another "hand up, don't shoot" and totally lovable gentle armed gunman struggling with a lone officer mercilessly gunned down because the white officer obviously murders every black person he can find an excuse to kill.

Why have trials if cops can simply shoot people when they decide that the suspect is guilty? Is this the Philippines?
