I've been using Apple phones for a long long time and I finally had to upgrade my i7 because I link to msft 365 services for Outlook & Teams.

And although I am not so hyper-engaged with these apps on my phone as to really need them on my phone, my current company no longer supports access to them on my i7 as it doesn't support iOS 16+.

That and the fact that my lightning port has worn out.

    And iOS is a pain.

And Samsung S23U cams blow doors over i15 cams.

    Well, I'm going Droid.

Just threw down on an S23U with 512Gb.

Man, this thing is trippy nice!

    How 'bout y'all?

    Nope?
    Hahaha....

Ok then, how about you @Patricio Da Silva?

What kinda phone are you sportin?

The cameras on this S23U are pretty sick.

They very likely could replace thousands of dollars worth of kit you bought back in the day....

S22 , does the job. Never did the apple thing. though they have better cameras in their phone, but since I own pro photography gear, I don't need it.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and a Samsung J7. The former is for work that paid for the over-priced thing and the latter is because I have been using J7's since they were first released and just prefer to stay with one I know. I did cheat on my J7 with an iphone for a few months but I hated that thing.

AT&T changed our service to 5G a year or 2 ago which rendered my trusty J7 obsolete. So I settled for a Samsung A12 (dang near the cheapest phone in the Samsung line) that I've used ever since.

For smart phones I started with Android and kept up with the latest flavors and updates, (had two Asus phones, cheap base-line models) but went to Apple because I wanted a small phone and the first gen SE fit the bill. Now?…. after learning ios and how tweak it to my preferences, a SE second gen is in my future.

Verizon still uses J7's as their changeover bootstrapped in 4G devices. Part of it had to do with the 5G blackout areas around airports and such.
