Pittsburgh man says he was attacked by 7 people because he is transgender

When I was a bright eyed EMT 18 years ago I worked in LA.

There was a group of about 10-15 transgender prostitutes there that was constantly running into trouble with the law and requiring medical attention.

They would get into cat fights amongst themselves.

They were referred to as the Garvey Girls after Garvey avenue, which is where they hung out.

 

Did any of them have full beards? I really wonder about transgenders with full beards. Is that a lack of commitment or something else?

 

So CBS saw it as Ethnic intimidation. Was it because he is black or is it because he was transgendered? I suspect he was simply the victim of a crime.

 

Of course, by "hate speech" you mean expecting them to use the restroom built for their particular genitals.

 

The investigation is proceeding I imagine.

I would think that producing the video would help in apprehending these seven people. It's quite strange that there seems to be no video nor calls for such to be produced. Were I assaulted inside a 7-11, I'd definitely want it shown everywhere, and 7-11 itself would easily comply; they've done it before when other people were attacked inside one of their stores. As I said - it's very unusual. It's almost as if this guy or whatever knows there isn't any video to be found.

You tell me. You're the one who asked in the OP "Why aren't conservatives condemning this attack?" I note that Liberals so far aren't condemning it either. So either the absence of condemnation from any political stripe - including Conservatives - indeed does NOT equal approval of an incident, OR you have differing standards for followers of each political belief.

There is just not enough credibility available to be outraged. This guy has been interviewed for a story in April , before this incident happened, and made claims of being hit, called names and spit on by his co-workers at a restaurant. I dunno....he might be an attention hog.

Also, no description of the assailants. Were they white black? Age? I can see something like this happening when you have a group of kids or gang bangers...but otherwise people aren't inclined to be abusive when they see a gay/transgender type.
