I think people might overlook an issue if the candidate involved supports other issues the people are in favor of. Was Trump the perfect candidate? For some, yes, others, no. But he was the candidate I felt would do the most for this country. What he does for his wife and family is between them. I would hope Trump is a straight and narrow guy, but I'm not going to hand over the country to a liberal if he isn't.

 

Trump was not elected for his family values. He was elected to get America moving again and if he did or didn't have an affair with a porn star before he was president that's between him and his wife. Means nothing to me either way.

 

He did it while he was POTUS, with his employee, then lied under oath. That was the issue.

You might remember that at the same time he was facing another case that NO lawyer wanted to touch.

The lawyers who worked on that case had to do it secretly, but he would never have been impeached for it.
