Can anyone explain to me why churches are free from taxes while at the same time (*)(*)(*)(*)ting on the Constitution and the wishes of the Founding Fathers?

Go ahead and do it, preachers. And go ahead and take away the tax free status of all churches, SCOTUS!

I lay no claim to being able to explain.

I only wish to say, I am all for eliminating tax free status to churches AND charitable organizations. As well as eliminating tax deduction on donation to such.

...you (anyone in general) wanna contribute freely to a church or organization, by all means, do so. But don't get all warm and fuzzy feeling inside by doing so while at the same time shifting the financial burden to me (as another taxpayer).

    Just a thought
