Oxycotin, Zanyx, hydrocodone are killing our young adults and ruining their lives. There are other non addictive drugs that are just as effective as these for pain, anxiety and depression. I believe these drugs should be taken off the market as it is to easy for individuals to obtain a prescription from crooked doctors and have their prescription filled at crooked and rip off drug stores. Marijuana isn't the problem, it is prescription drugs. I had extreme back pain while playing tennis and was prescribed vicodin, which I chose to take only a half prior to playing, it didn't work as well as prescription ibuprofen 800mg. He problem is doctors have a problem when a patient presents with "pain". They can't confirm it or deny the complaint. They prescribe addictive medications, the patient develops a tolerance and begins taking more than the prescribed amount and the addiction accelerates. We haven't put enough research into how to help the addicted!
