If you listen to him rant and pay attention instead of blanket acceptance of his verbiage, maybe you would see things in a different light.

This is the guy who prolonged the NFL protests by opening his mouth so he could use it as a rally cry. The NFL situation would have been dead long ago if not for his big mouth. He most certainly is using sports to divide.

Your current blanket statement doesn't prove your previous blanket statement.

Are you serious? You think trump's tweet was appropriate? I would expect that kind of response from a pre-teen aged kid but not a grown man, let alone the leader of the free world.

More questions, and now a taste of snark.

The President was correct to go after the media who were still in the early stages of it's non-stop attack agenda.

Do you care to discuss how the President is stupid and envious, or is this all you got?

I'll let trump speak for himself:

HEWITT: Mr. Trump... Dr. Carson just referenced the single most important job of the president, the command, the control and the care of our nuclear forces. And he mentioned the triad. The B-52s are older than I am. The missiles are old. The submarines are aging out. It’s an executive order. It’s a commander-in-chief decision.

What’s your priority among our nuclear triad?

TRUMP: Well, first of all, I think we need somebody absolutely that we can trust, who is totally responsible; who really knows what he or she is doing. That is so powerful and so important. And one of the things that I’m frankly most proud of is that in 2003, 2004, I was totally against going into Iraq because you’re going to destabilize the Middle East. I called it. I called it very strongly. And it was very important.

But we have to be extremely vigilant and extremely careful when it comes to nuclear. Nuclear changes the whole ball game. Frankly, I would have said get out of Syria; get out – if we didn’t have the power of weaponry today. The power is so massive that we can’t just leave areas that 50 years ago or 75 years ago we wouldn’t care. It was hand-to-hand combat.

The biggest problem this world has today is not President Obama with global warming, which is inconceivable, this is what he’s saying. The biggest problem we have is nuclear – nuclear proliferation and having some maniac, having some madman go out and get a nuclear weapon. That’s in my opinion, that is the single biggest problem that our country faces right now.

From Trump’s response, it’s clear that he either has no idea what the nuclear triad is, or that he had no idea what the question was and just decided to go with some sort of free-form jazz riff on the topic of “anything nuclear.” But even after Hewitt threw Trump another clue, he replied with total gibberish.

HEWITT: Of the three legs of the triad, though, do you have a priority? I want to go to Senator Rubio after that and ask him.

TRUMP: I think – I think, for me, nuclear is just the power, the devastation is very important to me.

Nuclear is just the power? WTF? And he's got the nerve to call others dumb?

    Please be specific.

Exactly how did Trump prolong the football player's divisive behavior? Was he cheering on their divisive behavior? Was he encouraging the team's managements to direct the players to prolong their divisive behavior?

Just how was Trump directing the divisive behavior of the players?

The people claiming that calling someone dumb is racist, obviously think black people are dumb. Wait??? Who’s the racist again? Only black people can be dumb? Trump has called everyone dumb so if it’s only racist when it’s a black person.... better check your head.

Just like when someone immediately thinks thug means black. Whoops, maybe you’re the racist.

No this is a guy who stood up to anti American, anti cop, anti military and anti white racism with a fake cause not supported by the numbers.

No surprise you would support it of course.

To recap: We are discussing the vile lies and smears directed at Trump. In this case the lie is that Trump is divisive.

    It's bullcrap.

I'm trying to remember the last time I can recall that anyone seriously used the terms, "NBA", or "basketball", and the word "intellect" in the same sentence.... :lonely:

Anything can be a mere smear until or unless you act like it.

Your inability to understand the context of President Trumps statement during a debate is your failing, and not an indicator of lack of intelligence on the part of President Trump.

    Anything else?

Ummm what? The context was in the leading question. Here let me help you again (it takes a village):
Mr. Trump... Dr. Carson just referenced the single most important job of the president, the command, the control and the care of our nuclear forces. And he mentioned the triad. The B-52s are older than I am. The missiles are old. The submarines are aging out. It’s an executive order. It’s a commander-in-chief decision.

If you can stand by those "answers" (trump had no freaking idea that the nuclear triad was) as anything other than low iq rambling then you are as unobjective as one can be.

Sorry. I'm not seeing an answer to my question. It looks like deflection, to me.

    Let me try again:

First off, I don't believe that LeBron is stupid. That is just a common attack name that people use. But, LeBron did promote the empty lie that Trump is divisive. That term is a meaningless attack word that media often pull out against Republicans. It's a meaningless term that gets trotted out when there is no valid argument against the policies.

What is the proper response to vile lies and smears?

I don't disagree with you. The entire world knows that Lebron was simply taking a jab at trump. So what?
And for the record that's the proper response to this type of criticism.

Are you kidding? Should I spell it out for you? Is it that difficult to comprehend, or are you so invested, you're incapable of grasping simple concepts?

Does context and association present a challenge for you? Should someone providing an answer be expected to account for those who might not be able to follow simple logic?

LeBron repeated a meme that, by itself, promotes division.

I think that there truly are people who believe the slanders. I think their mistaken beliefs result in negative consequences that fall upon us all.

I guess it's easier to throw yet another person under the bus than to call out your great orange hope for the ******* that he is.
Even his wife had the temerity to pull his pants down on his latest puerile rant, but it's sad to see the useful idiots just doubling down.
