I didn't say that. Of course they do. Go back and read what I was responding to.

Because life doesn't work that way?

I've lived in the same location for many years, and never once had a choice as to who lives in my neighborhood. You describe a fantasy.

I am relieved that you do not require proof for the obvious.

Trump easily beat the 17 Republican candidates and The Clintons and the DP without running ads, with a tiny campaign organization and budget, while on an extended family travel vacation. How could he do it? It was easy baby." Mike Hammer ;-)

In 2020 expect a fully funded campaign and a Katrina of political ads in every state. You'll love it. :)

Trump bragged that his approval amongst the GOP is the highest of any President in history...surely you have noticed that 85% or more of the GOP love trump.

Did you think this post made any sense? The thread is about a republican leaning poll that tries to evaluate likely voters. Even in this poll, trump has an incredibly high approval rating amongst the GOP voters.

But trump's base is not enough. And that's why his approval rating is -12 even when you only rely upon a republican leaning poll.

You are talking way over their heads here. Think like your audience. This audience lives in a black and white world. There are no grays and nothing can lead to doubt or ambiguity, complexity or nuance. Now try again. You need to break this down step by step. Use of powerpoint and simple charts may help bridge this teaching moment.

The really big challenge here, is getting these pupils to retain this lesson. I have no clue how to get Trumpsters keep this concept intact passed a Fox News commentary.

Keep pushing those polls. 60 million+ Americans will never again answer one their whole lives... or vote for a Democrat again.

Democrats earned 9.8 million more votes than Republicans a full two months ago...That margin also matched the average of the polls to within 0.5%

But yea, you keep on using those excuses to build that house of failure.

Impossible to discredit the actual vote counts themselves since they were, and still are, a massive REJECTION of the BLOTUS and the GOP.

Only 9.8 million votes in a historically weak midterm in the face of the largest, unified negative propaganda campaign in human history? If that's "good news" to you, I guess take your victories where you can manuf... erm find them.

And we already knew that large, corrupt population centers vote Democrat, making the above feeble grasp at "popular vote" numbers in a Constitutional Republic/Electoral College reality instead of some other more meaningful statistic barrel scraping of a particularly transparent variety.

But phew, thank GOODNESS for 2020 that we live in a Constitutional Republic with an EC... that aren't going anywhere anytime soon... right?

Why wasn't he shutting down the government two years ago?

Another caravan is headed to the US. Chances are they will be stopped at Mexico's southern border. There remain thousands in Tijuana.

The crisis here is a political one. We have few walls to storm.

Alright then, there is a crisis in Honduras. But this is not the existential threat to us that it's being made out to be.

You are a perfect example of why Trump has refused to learn the lesson from 2018. Trump's base is not enough. He needs to expand his appeal.

Instead, folks like yourself, tell Trump to ignore 2018, to pretend it did not happen, and to support Trump's strategy of "all base, all the time."

    Blabla

"The single biggest midterm defeat in U.S. history."

Magical thinking. Explains in a single phrase how their level of political awareness achieves the nadir it does.

Ah so you agree there is no "crisis"? And he's happy to screw over working Americans if it can help get his fat ass re-elected?
