Politicians are always campaigning. That’s the fault off the voters who seem to demand it.

But if Trumps wins again he won’t as much of course the next 4 years.

If Biden wins he will not remember what offices he holds so they won’t let him anyways...

So yeah next 4 years we will see less of it :)

Well, if you insist that you were not referring to me, I suppose that I will have to take your word for it.

Previous to your denial, however, a reasonable person probably would have interpreted your words as a reference to me.

The words "You probably would be well served to stop assuming that everything in this world revolves around you" and "My point has been made perfectly whether or not it did or did not go over your level of understanding"..... Do not indicate to me that the speaker of those words is "angry". Obviously in your mind that somehow indicates anger, but since I know full well that I am nowhere close to angry, then obviously your assumption about the meaning of those words in regards to my mood is undeniably incorrect.

Well, perhaps not anger so much as condescension.

Do you really imagine that this is an improvement?

    Was I being condescending?....Absolutely.

That condescension was justified because you were incorrectly making it to be about you. Anger would NOT have been justified because the transgression did not warrant as much. Acting or speaking with justification is clearly an improvement over acting or speaking without justification.

Then perhaps you really do not need to interact with me anymore.

Remember, there is always the "Ignore" function...

    It’s politics.
Non-issue to me. I’m actually surprised he didn’t start earlier. I think both campaigns used CoVID to save a little bit of cash.

Personally, I never have and never would enact the "ignore function", because if someone is saying something to me or about me, I want to know it so that I can respond if I deem it necessary. If I do not want to respond, I will simply not respond. I do not require a "function" in order to refrain from responding back to someone that has quoted me. You are free to avail yourself however if it makes you feel better.

Whatever path you choose, my toes are still tapping because my point was made a long time ago. Frankly, I am surprised that you keep persisting with what amounts to a losing hand. Knowing when to fold 'em is a skill you would be well advised to learn.

    You may be correct.

But I simply despise politicians' actions, whenever those actions indicate political intent.

Perhaps that is because I truly do not recognize Professional Politician as a legitimate profession. (I would, quite sincerely, place hooker considerably above that.)

I suppose that is why I put so much faith in Donald Trump: I deeply believe that our presidents should be selected from those who have never previously held any elected office--not from those who have "climbed the ladder," so to speak.

One could also make the observation...........Trump's continual search for a fall guy.

Trump team weighs a CDC scrubbing to deflect mounting criticism
With Trump under fire for his handling of the outbreak, his advisers are eyeing the federal bureaucracy for other culprits ahead of the election.
    https://www.politico.com/news/2020/06/23/trump-cdc-overhaul-coronavirus-335039

"White House officials are putting a target on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, positioning the agency as a coronavirus scapegoat as cases surge in many states and the U.S. falls behind other nations that are taming the pandemic."

The Orange Fraud needs to lay his failure at someone's feet.

Well, the US is not guided by authoritarian principles, as many other countries are, which have effectively defeated the virus--by authoritarian means.

It would really be nice if you could learn to speak of our president in civil terms.
